Meet at St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub on the second Sunday of the month* from 1-3pm to sketch! This meetup operates on a drop-in basis. Bring your supplies and join us outside at St. Elmo’s Coffee Pub to produce still life, figure, or architecture subjects in your sketchbook. Participants will spend some time putting their skills into practice and then reconvene for a review of finished works. This program is FREE! Donations appreciated. Overlooking the secluded beach, surrounded by date palm trees and gardens, the palace blends Florence and Turkish style and is now the State Guesthouse of Egypt. Montaza Palace was a summer retreat for the royal family until 1952. Now the seaside is open to tourists and anglers, and the palace is not open to the public. Montaza Palace Park is the best place for greening in Alexandria, with a large area. This is a good place for Egyptian families to go out for a picnic, and it is also a romantic choice for couples to fall in love together.

Corniche, also known as the Avenue of July 26, is the most Alexandrian street, built in 1934. It is from Castle Katebe to the east to Montaza Palace, 26 kilometers on the Mediterranean coastline. This is also the most prosperous area in Alexandria, with hotels, restaurants, cafes and shops all available.
