Fashion Rebelution presents the Fashion Upcycling Camp, a unique opportunity for children and teens to explore sustainability through fashion. Taking place from June 3-7, 9AM-12PM at the Firehouse Art Center in Longmont, this camp is designed for kids aged 7 and above, with no sewing experience necessary. Participants will learn how to operate a sewing machine safely and repurpose old clothing into stylish accessories.

Campers will delve into the world of creative upcycling, turning unwanted fabrics like denim and t-shirts into one-of-a-kind bags, scarves, belts, and more. By reusing materials that would otherwise end up in landfills, students will gain a deeper appreciation for responsible fashion and reducing their carbon footprint. Through hands-on activities, they will develop skills in sewing, weaving, and jewelry-making, while also learning about the environmental impact of clothing choices.
