Friday afternoon comedy with a selection of Scotland’s Best Comics from Scotland’s coolest comedy producers, the Good Egg Comedy company. We run the freshest comedy shows in all of Scotland and following sell out shows in 2024 of our patented Friday afternoon shows, we are back for 2025. Comedy in a nice relaxed atmosphere, no last trains, no fighting for taxis, no drunk idiots (not guaranteed!) A selection of award winning comedians, Instagram stars, and veterans of the comedy scene, all hosted by the 5-time Scottish Comedian of the year Finalist, Ross Leslie (“Ross Leslie is a nimble compere, who kept the night on track with a gentle authority and, when he shifted into material, he got big around the room responses.” British Comedy Guide) The bar is open from 12pm, and we recommend if you have purchased a food ticket to at least arrive by 12pm. We will start bringing people into the comedy room at about 12.15pm, with the show starting at 12.30pm. There will be a break during the show for refreshments and comfort, and aim to be finished by 2.00pm latest. The bar will remain open to normal closing time.

It is a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, there were almost no people on the road, only the old buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which was awe-inspiring.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.
