Join the second annual Garba Raas LA 2023 event in Los Angeles and immerse yourself in the vibrant Gujarati culture. This celebration promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring Garba, Dandiya Raas, dance lessons, kids activities, and a traditional candle-lit Aarti prayer. Dandiyas will be provided, and delicious food will be available for purchase. Admission is $35 for adults, while kids under 12 can enter for free. This community folk dance event is one of the largest in the world, offering a unique opportunity to learn and experience Gujarati traditions. The event will take place on November 5, 2023, at Optimist Studios located at 5431 West 104th Street, near LAX, in Los Angeles, CA 90045. Free parking is available on the street and across from the venue. All proceeds from the event will support TeachAAPI.org. Organized by Sari Palace, this event is a collaborative effort by renowned individuals in the community, including Payal Kadakia Pujji, Ami Desai, Chaya Kumar, Shivani Bhagwan, Dulari Amin, Reneta Jain, Anita Lallian-Verma, Radhi Devlukia, Riddhi Tolia, Zohreen Shah, Raakhi Kapur, Rohan Sheth, and Jasmin Wala.
