About The Spirit Collection of Thorne Hall.. . .At Thorne Hall, a grand estate nestled in the Berkshires, fifteen restless spirits roam, bound within the mansion’s walls since the Gilded Age. Elegy Thorne bears the weight of her family’s curse to preserve the mansion as it was in the 1890s, using ancient folk songs to keep the spirits secret and silent in order to avoid deadly consequences.
When a mischievous child spirit wreaks havoc on the manor, the Thorne family calls upon their trusted preservationist to restore the mansion. He brings along his son, Atticus – a vibrant man full of life and ideas of modernization – and Elegy is captivated by him, igniting a longing for freedom she’s never dared to embrace.
Torn between her desire to follow her heart and her duty to her family and its legacy, Elegy begins searching for a way to release the spirit collection back to the afterlife and set both herself and the ghosts free. Ann Thomas is the award-winning author of the Asperfell trilogy (written as Jamie Thomas). The Spirit Collection of Thorne Hall is her first adult novel. She teaches Diploma Programme Language and Literature at an International Baccalaureate World school in Tacoma, Washington where she lives in a one hundred and twenty-four-year-old house with her husband, two children, and (according to said husband) too many animals. She also holds a masters degree in vocal performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Jamie is represented by Rick Lewis at Forward Fiction Literary Management. Chihuly is a gorgeous work of art near the space needle.   The interior museum features beautiful glass installations. my favorite was the atrium with the glass flowers.

It is divided into two exhibition areas, indoor and outdoor, and mainly displays Boeing products: from transport aircraft, fighter jets to passenger aircraft. There is also a wax figure of Premier Zhou and Nixon shaking hands, with the background being the Air Force One that Nixon took during his first visit to China in 1972.
