Join the introductory level torch soldering class, "Jewelry Soldering Basics," at NW Rockhounds in Seattle. Led by experienced instructor Christina Bengtson, this class will teach students the fundamental techniques, equipment, and safety measures for soldering metals. Taking place on February 7th, from 11:30am to 3:30pm, this class is designed for individuals aged 18 and above. The ticket price for this event is $80.

During the class, participants will learn the art of butt soldering sterling silver, copper, and brass. The instructor will cover various solder types and temperatures, as well as metal properties and applications for multi-operation soldering. Additionally, students will gain insights into the necessary tools and materials to set up a functional soldering station at home.

Whether you are new to jewelry making or seeking to refresh your soldering skills, this class is perfect for you. By the end of the session, you will have the opportunity to create your own earrings or pendant. Please note that there is a $15 kit fee payable to the teacher on the day of the class, either by cash or check. All other tools required for the class will be provided.

To ensure a smooth experience, please check your email a few days before the class for further instructions. Also, kindly note that our classroom is located upstairs and can accommodate a maximum of 6 students. Masks are optional for this class.

Big tourist attraction for sure and honestly it&#39;s the people I&#39;ve met and the fun I had that made this great!  and while the elevator up is standard, getting to the top you have people that go around and take free picture. you download them from their website. Ritchie, the photographer I met was incredibly sweet  and had the down home comfort to him. going to the rotating Glass, he gave me a few pictures with the background and it was amazing! they had $15 Mai Thai (I know I know lil pricy but you&#39;re in the air and in Seattle, why not?)Tips: get your ticket(s) for a good price (cough cough Groupon) and get them online and early. cheaper before 11 am

The best place to overlook the panoramic view of Seattle. This is actually a free community park on the top of the mountain, but the view is so good that it has become a must-see attraction in Seattle. From here you can see the clear blue water of the harbor and the Space Needle in the city center. In the distance is Mount Rainier, the city of Little Fuji. The top of the mountain is covered with snow all year round, like a white hat, very beautiful.
