Join the Jr. HEAT Basketball Clinic at The Underline, sponsored by Swire Properties, and learn to play basketball in Miami. This eight-week basketball skills camp is perfect for kids aged 8 to 14. Led by the Miami HEAT and taught by Jr. HEAT coaches, this clinic is a great opportunity to improve your basketball skills while also learning important life lessons like respect and sportsmanship. Throughout the camp, attendees will focus on a different basketball skill each week, including dribbling techniques, layups, shooting techniques, jump shots, and more advanced dribble techniques. The clinic will take place at The Underline's Flex Court in the Urban Gym, a flexible outdoor recreational space. Gates and registration open at 8:45 AM, with the clinic starting at 9:00 AM. To get to the Urban Gym, you can take the Metrorail to Brickell Metrorail Station and walk to the gym. If you prefer, you can also walk or bike to the gym using the bike trail on The Underline. For those driving, public parking lots at Brickell City Centre and Mary Brickell Village are available. The event is free to the public, but registration is required. Come prepared with water, sunscreen, light snacks, and a raincoat or umbrella, as the clinic takes place outdoors. Please note that the event may be postponed in case of inclement weather.
