Join the Jr. HEAT Basketball Clinic at The Underline, sponsored by Swire Properties, in Miami. This exciting basketball camp offers a unique opportunity for kids to learn and improve their skills. Held at The Underline Brickell Backyard Urban Gym, the clinic is free and open to children aged 8 to 14. Led by the Miami HEAT and taught by Jr. HEAT coaches, this eight-week program focuses on different basketball skills each week, while also emphasizing life skills, respect, and sportsmanship. Participants will have the chance to learn dribbling techniques, shooting techniques, and more advanced dribble techniques. The clinic takes place every Saturday from October 7th to November 25th, starting at 9:00 AM. Registration is required, and capacity is limited to 30 attendees. To reach the venue, you can take the Metrorail to Brickell Metrorail Station and walk to the Urban Gym. Alternatively, you can walk or bike to the Urban Gym using the bike trail on The Underline. Public parking lots are available at Brickell City Centre and Mary Brickell Village. Remember to come prepared with water, sunscreen, and light snacks, as the clinic is held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, please refer to the rain policy. The Underline is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can participate.
