Welcome to Kiz the Season 8 Kizomba Weekender, a social dance event dedicated to the vibrant styles of kizomba, semba, tarraxinha, urbankiz, and konpa. Held in the heart of the midwest, Cincinnati, known as the Queen City, this weekender promises top-notch instruction and an inclusive social dance experience. The motive behind CinciKiz is to celebrate, connect, and create unforgettable memories.

In 2023, we are excited to introduce some exciting additions to the event. We will now offer simultaneous classes again, allowing participants to delve into multiple dance styles. Additionally, we have extended the socials to span two days, ensuring ample time for everyone to enjoy the dance floor. Our new venue, Studio Z, is conveniently located within walking distance of nearby hotels and restaurants, making it even more convenient for attendees.

Get ready for a dynamic lineup of dance styles, including Kizomba, Semba, Tarraxinha, Afro Dance, and more. Stay tuned as we announce our featured instructors and DJ, who will bring their expertise and energy to the event.

The schedule overview includes a beginner Kizomba lesson and an intermediate lesson on Friday evening. The nightly social will follow, keeping the festivities going until the early hours of the morning. Saturday will feature workshops during the day, followed by a day social and another lively night social. On Sunday, we will continue with workshops and conclude the event with a day social in the evening.
