Experience the ultimate artistic journey at the Life Drawing for Wimps Workshop in Glasgow. With shorter poses leading to longer studies, you will gain the skills and confidence necessary to tackle a full life drawing class or club.

All materials are provided, but we recommend wearing old clothes or a cover-up to protect against any messiness that may occur with charcoal. The workshop takes place in the accessible Boiler Room at The Hidden Gardens, which features amenities such as toilets and a kitchen. Light refreshments will be provided, and for additional dining options, a café is available at Tramway. Access to the venue can be obtained through Tramway or, if closed, via a lane on Pollokshaws Road adjacent to Scottish Ballet. The nearest station is Pollokshaws East.

It is a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, there were almost no people on the road, only the old buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which was awe-inspiring.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
