As the founder of the Black Artists + Designers Guild, Barnett has built a global platform for independent Black artists, makers, and designers. Her work has been featured in Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, The New York Times, and more. With roots in St. Vincent and Jamaica, Barnett is known for her efforts in raising awareness around Caribbean makers and Black ceramic art traditions. In her curated book Crafted Kinship, she highlights the personal stories of Caribbean artists and explores how their cultural backgrounds shape their creative processes across diverse mediums.
