Experience a day of family fun at the Manchester Sportsmen's Association Annual Fishing Derby in Coventry. The event will take place at the Manchester Sportsmen's Association on 612 Merrow Road on April 27, 2024. Gates open at 7:00 AM, with the Derby running from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Rain or shine, the pond will be stocked and closed prior to the event. Cash prizes include $100 for the longest trout, $50 for second place, $25 for third place, and $50 for each tagged trout caught. Breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase, along with raffles for added excitement. Admission is $20 for ages 16 and up, while children under 16 can enter for free. Please note that accompanying adults need a ticket. No corn, live bait fish, or dead bait fish are allowed. A Connecticut Fishing License is not required. For ticket details, contact 203-257-0449.
