Details
The March Women & LGBTQIA+ Group Trail Run is a monthly event held at the Leon A Wurl Wildlife Sanctuary in Louisville. Participants will gather at Harper Lake to embark on a 3-mile run around the Davidson Mesa loop. For those looking for an additional challenge, there is an option to extend the run with a loop or two around Harper Lake, each 0.9 miles long. This inclusive event welcomes women and LGBTQIA+ runners of all levels, including beginners interested in running or run/walking. The pace typically ranges from 11 to 14 minutes per mile on the mostly flat, wide gravel path, eliminating the need for specialized trail shoes. If you are seeking a supportive community and a chance to connect with like-minded individuals while enjoying the outdoors, this group run offers the ideal opportunity. For further details, inquiries can be directed to Kelly Lutz at kelly@coachingklutz.com. Attendance is free, making it accessible to all interested participants.
