Join Christina Bengtson at the NW Rockhounds in Seattle for an exciting fundamentals class on Thursday, February 1st. This class is perfect for beginners who are on a budget or have a small studio space. The focus of the class is the safety and use of the butane micro torch. This versatile tool is essential for any jewelry maker or metalworker. 

During the class, Christina will cover different options for butane torches and provide essential equipment for working with fire. Students will have the opportunity to work with sterling silver, fine silver, and copper, as well as learn valuable skills such as flame control, metal gauging, annealing, work hardening, flattening, texturing, and shaping wire. By the end of the class, students will leave with beautiful earrings and pendants in the metal of their choice.

Please note that there is a kit fee of $10, payable to the instructor on the day of the class. All other tools will be provided for use. The class is limited to 6 students, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance. Safety measures will be in place, and masks are optional.

Big tourist attraction for sure and honestly it&#39;s the people I&#39;ve met and the fun I had that made this great!  and while the elevator up is standard, getting to the top you have people that go around and take free picture. you download them from their website. Ritchie, the photographer I met was incredibly sweet  and had the down home comfort to him. going to the rotating Glass, he gave me a few pictures with the background and it was amazing! they had $15 Mai Thai (I know I know lil pricy but you&#39;re in the air and in Seattle, why not?)Tips: get your ticket(s) for a good price (cough cough Groupon) and get them online and early. cheaper before 11 am

The best place to overlook the panoramic view of Seattle. This is actually a free community park on the top of the mountain, but the view is so good that it has become a must-see attraction in Seattle. From here you can see the clear blue water of the harbor and the Space Needle in the city center. In the distance is Mount Rainier, the city of Little Fuji. The top of the mountain is covered with snow all year round, like a white hat, very beautiful.
