Join the MTB Technical Skills clinic led by professional Trials rider Freddy Astrada in Madison at Aldo Leopold Park on July 24, 2024. This 2-hour intermediate/advanced clinic focuses on enhancing technical bike riding abilities. Participants will master fundamental skills crucial for conquering challenging terrains, improving bike handling, and navigating obstacles on the trail such as skinnies and rock gardens. While experience with trackstands, brake control, wheel lifts, gear selection, and balance is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The clinic is limited to 10 participants to ensure personalized attention from the instructors. Freddy Astrada, with 17 years of diverse biking experience, is passionate about helping riders boost their confidence and skills. A suggested donation of $100 for CORP members and $150 for non-members directly supports the Capital Off-Road Pathfinders (CORP) in building and maintaining trails in south-central Wisconsin. Come prepared with a helmet, closed-toed footwear, and a well-maintained mountain bike with front suspension, ready to elevate your biking proficiency and support the local mountain biking community.
