NI Junior Foil Series 2024/25 - Round 1 Shankill Leisure Centre, 100 Shankill Road, Belfast BT13 2BD Starts 10:30 Saturday 12 October 2024 Closing date for entries: 10pm Wed 09 October 2024 Online entries only. £20 entry fee. Fencers must have a current British Fencing membership valid on the day of the competition. Anyone without a valid membership will not be allowed to compete. Check in times U16 Male Closes 10:15 for 10:30 Start U16 Female Closes 10:15 for 10:30 Start U14 Male Closes 10:30 for 10:45 Start U14 Female Closes 10:45 for 11:00 Start U12 Male Closes 11:00 for 11:15 Start U12 Female Closes 11:00 for 11:15 Start U10 Mixed Closes 11:15 for 11:30 Start Competitors intending to compete in an age group category above the one for which he/she would normally qualify must ensure that the appropriate application form has been submitted in good time. The organisers reserve the right to select or change the format of the competition, including on the day of competition. Presentations for the best overall fencers in each category will take place at the end of the competition. Age Categories U10 Born 2015 or 2016 U12 Born 2013 or 2014 U14 Born 2011 or 2012 U16 Born 2009 or 2010 Foil sizes U16 Max Size 5 Blade U14 Max Size 3 Blade U12 Max Size 3 Blade U10 Mixed Size 0 Blade Fencing Kit Requirements U10, U12, U14: 800N or 350N plastron. 350N mask, jacket and breeches. Long socks, please. No lame bib or mask wire required. U16: 800N plastron. 350N mask, jacket and breeches. Lame bib, mask wire & long socks required.
