In collaboration with Mappa Outdoor, this workshop will guide you through the intricacies of planning a secure and exciting wilderness adventure while connecting you to accessible experiences. Our knowledgeable speakers, Karin Traeger, an ultra trail runner and solo adventurist, and Ava & Michael from Mappa Outdoor, a community-centric group focused on fostering connections to nature, sustainability, and wellness, will provide valuable insights and expertise.

As part one of a three-part workshop, Navigating Nature is just the beginning. Stay tuned for part two, Gear Selection, and part three, Nutrition Planning, to delve even deeper into mastering the art of outdoor exploration.

This was a last minute decision but it was a great one! Really well curated, very informative and with staff that obviously love their jobs! An excellent 3 hours spent admiring nature and understanding how they are contributing to repopulating species! Well worth the trip!

Lovely place to walk past on the way to the Melbourne museum. This time of the year, there&rsquo;s autumn leaves covering the walkways. There is even a small pond with some ducks in the corner. And right in front of the royal exhibition hall, there is a fountain where sometimes you will catch couples taking their wedding photos here.
