This hands-on event will give you the opportunity to learn the art of papermaking and create beautiful handmade papers. Danielle will teach you how to recycle and repurpose paper waste, including personal items like bus tickets, receipts, and old artwork. You'll also have the chance to incorporate other materials such as coffee grain waste, threads, and pencil sharpenings into your papers. Working with a partner, you'll explore different techniques and tools to make your own unique hand-made papers. The workshop will cover embossing, dipping, pouring, and using different shaped molds and deckles. Once your papers are made, they will need a few days to dry. Danielle will provide instructions on how to dry them at home. The dried paper can be used for drawing and printing, or shared with others to leave their mark on. We made a dedicated trip and had a lovely few hours. There was lots to see with split levels that kept your interest. The penguins were nice, the octopus made an appearance and we would have loved to see more of the otters., we see the otters.. There is plenty to see, read and touch. My grand daughter loved it all, the turtle in the tunnel is beautiful . It was clean, and we had a great time, would definitely go back, staff were helpful,its really nice and deserve to be visited again and again.

For a smaller town the Art Museum as great. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it if you are traveling to Birmingham. Make sure to call ahead to see if they are open.

The little friends cry and shout that they must come to the stadium to punch in! It is really extraordinary. As soon as you enter, you can feel the restoration of the building and the streamlined dynamic. It is worth a visit. The photos are particularly grand and quite interesting!
