Unbound Desires: A Night of Heated Rivalry | Oak Bay Recreation Centre

Unbound Desires: A Night of Heated Rivalry | Oak Bay Recreation Centre

Victoria Festival of Authors' Spicy Spring Fundraiser Before Heated Rivalry existed as a series to binge on Crave, Ilya and Shane lived on the pages of Rachel Reid's book of the same name. And if you think the show is hot, you haven't seen anything yet. Unbound Desires , VFA's spring fundraiser, is an extravaganza celebration of the book version of Heated Rivalry, with spicy readings, drag performances, and burlesque dancers. We have an exciting slate of performers in store for you, including real-life Victoria residents who have broken barriers around gender and sexuality in Canadian sports. There will be a hockey themed photo booth and a 50/50 raffle just like at the rink. Munro's will be on hand with a curated list of romance books to tide you over until Rachel Reid's third Shane and Ilya instalment is released in June 2027. Even better than the cottage - though one of our attendees will win a night in one! Notes: This event takes place in Oak Bay Rec's Sports View Lounge (above the rink!). Take the stairs or elevator across from the front desk. Food and drinks are available to purchase from the Lounge Your tickets support Victoria Festival of Authors' fall festival Information Source: Victoria Festival of Authors | eventbrite
