The Philippa Pearce Lecture 2024, entitled "Creativity Through Poetry", will be given by the talented poet, performer, and playwright, Joseph Coelho. Known for his much-loved children's poetry, as well as his Luna Loves picture books, Fairy Tales Gone Bad series, and YA verse novel, The Girl Who Became a Tree, Coelho is a true advocate for poetry and a champion of creativity and storytelling. In 2022, he was appointed as the 12th Children's Laureate, with a mission to celebrate the power of poetry, promote diverse authors and illustrators, and inspire future bookmakers. Taking place at the Mary Allan Building in Homerton College, Cambridge on April 11, the lecture will be followed by a wine reception and book signing. Admission to both the lecture and reception is free, thanks to the support of Homerton College and personal donations. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a special library exhibition and browse an extensive bookshop run by the renowned Norfolk Children's Book Centre. It is a lovely and unique place. There are lots of famous attractions on the campus. However, if you want to visit them, you have to pay the entry fee to each college you want to access or pay to take the boat. I would strongly recommend taking the boat if possible because you can see the most historic and famous part of the school.

Having a boat trip in Cambridge can give a good experience of punting on the River Cam and also get lots of interesting stories about each college at the University of Cambridge. However, the cost of it is quite expensive.

There is a statue of Henry VIII at the entrance of Trinity College. There is an apple tree on the green lawn at the entrance of the college, which is the source of Newton&#39;s law of &quot;universal gravitation&quot;. When you enter the Great Court of the college, the magnificent architecture brings a sense of awe. In the lobby of the church are jade statues of famous graduates from Trinity College, including Newton, Bacon, Tennyson and others.

The Bridge of Sighs is a covered bridge in Cambridge, England. It belongs to St. John&#39;s College, Cambridge University. It was built in 1831 and spans the River Cam. The architect was Henry Hutchinson. It is named after the Bridge of Sighs in Venice.
