While the official start of the holiday season in Pittsburgh is Light Up Night, our Winter Flower Show doesn't kick off until the Friday after Thanksgiving. Get ready to be enchanted as Phipps transforms into a winter wonderland with a unique holiday theme each year that is always better than the last (we're still scratching our heads trying to figure out their secret!). 
 
But that's not all! In recent years, Phipps has taken it up a notch by converting its outdoor garden into a mesmerizing light display that can only be experienced after dark. Just a word of advice, make sure to arrive early and brace yourself for a line - this attraction is one of the most popular Christmas destinations in the city!
 
Mark your calendars, because Phipps Conservatory's Winter Flower Show starts the Friday before Thanksgiving and continues to dazzle visitors until the first week of January. Stunning grounds and an incredible selection to view. Easily one of my favourite places to visit in Pittsburgh. The gift shop offers a lot, and the food and drinks selection in the cafe were great, even with special dietary requirements.
