Get ready to enhance your portrait photography skills at the PROCAM Cincinnati Portrait Photography Boot Camp. This in-person, hands-on event is perfect for amateur, semi-professional, and professional photographers alike. During the six-hour workshop, students will gain invaluable knowledge of portrait photography techniques, both in the studio and on location (weather permitting). Our experienced instructors will provide guidance through hands-on practice and brief lectures. Students will have the opportunity to create stunning portraits using their own cameras with the assistance of our instructors. The workshop covers a wide range of topics such as studio and location portrait techniques, proper posing techniques, basic studio and location portrait lighting, flash techniques, camera settings, lens choices, and more. While space is limited, students may bring a friend or family member to model for the workshop upon prior approval. Please see the "Requirements" section for details. No prior portrait photography experience is required for this workshop. Participants should bring an interchangeable lens camera with Aperture Priority and Manual exposure modes, a lens, a memory card, and pen and paper for note-taking. Although not mandatory, a shoe mounted flash can be helpful. Please dress comfortably as the workshop involves sitting, standing, and movement.
