The lives of a 15th-century knight and a 21st-century motorcyclist come together in a captivating tale of love, jealousy, and intertwined destinies. Drawing inspiration from Lope de Vega's renowned work, El caballero de Olmedo / The Knight from Olmedo, this adaptation tells the story of Don Alonso's journey from Medina del Campo to Olmedo on horseback, paralleled by a young motorcyclist following the same route. As they travel, their individual stories unfold, a powerful antidote against the fear that haunts them both. Throughout the play, the merging of time and space creates an intriguing ambiguity, revealing the shared ambitions and motives of the two protagonists: love, jealousy, envy, loneliness, irrational fear, and a common destiny. Presented by Estival Producciones (Spain) and featuring the talented Juan Cañas, this performance, adapted by Julieta Soria and directed by Ainhoa Amestoy, offers a unique exploration of The Knight from Olmedo.
