Join the Run Against Breast Cancer 5K/10K/13.1 AUSTIN/ROUNDROCK event at Richard Moya Park in Austin, Texas on October 12, 2024. This event is set to sell out quickly, with waves closing as they reach capacity. Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K, or 21K Half Marathon, and even opt for a virtual run if waves are sold out. All ages and paces are welcome to run or walk in this small, private group event limited to 15-20 participants per wave. No timing chips are provided, but participants can request timing assistance from coordinators on race day. A portion of the proceeds from the run, along with 100% of fundraising efforts, will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Registered participants will receive a swag bag including a running T-shirt, finisher's towel or giveaway, and a finisher's medal. Additional optional items such as technical running shirts and access to the RUNNA Coaching Program are available for purchase. Packet pickup is not required, as swag will be shipped directly to participants' addresses. Wave times are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and a virtual run option is offered with digital tools for tracking and submitting results. Participants can also sign up for multiple races at a discounted rate and receive a custom runner's trophy for completing three runs. Sponsorship opportunities and volunteer positions are available for those interested in supporting the event. Additionally, efforts are made to provide stipends, scholarships, or free entries to individuals in need, including at-risk youth and marginalized communities.
