Take your Salsa skills to the next level at the Salsa Turns Crash Course at Henke on Thursday, February 24th. This course is designed for dancers who have already completed level 101 and are ready to learn more advanced turns and techniques. Please note that this is not a class for absolute beginners and dance experience is required. The course will cover a range of topics, including cross body lead variations, outside and inside turn variations, open break moves, hammerlocks, walk arounds, walk backs, styling, and combos with flow. The evening will also include a bonus of social dancing and practice time until 11:00pm. To join the course, you can save your spot online or RSVP by text. Early registration is available for $25 for ladies, $30 for gentlemen, and $45 for couples if paid online by Wednesday at midnight. Late registration is available on Thursday for $35 per person or $60 per couple at the door. Cash, Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle are accepted forms of payment. The event will take place at Henke & Pillot located at 809 Congress Street, Houston, TX. Free street parking is available around Market Square park on Congress St, Travis St, Milan St, and Preston St. Please be sure to read parking signs and avoid parking in commercial and emergency red zones. Additionally, please remember to take your valuables with you or store them in your trunk out of plain view.
