The Social Nordic Walk, Bristol is a fantastic opportunity for British Nordic Walking instructors and their clients to come together and enjoy a fun and free 12km walk. Led by Vicky Welsh, this event will take participants on a journey through some of Bristol's most iconic parks and landmarks. Starting at Ashton Court Estate, walkers will have the chance to explore the beautiful red deer park before making their way to Leigh Woods and its historic iron age fort. From there, the group will venture to Bristol harbour and take in the sights of the Clifton observatory. The highlight of the walk will be crossing the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. With a mix of parkland, tracks, pavements, and hills, this walk offers a diverse and exciting terrain. Participants should be prepared for a steep incline leading from Bristol harbour to Clifton observatory. A café and lunch stop will be included, so remember to bring a packed lunch.
