Join SiNaCa Studios - School of Glass and Gallery in Fort Worth for the Spark Workshop on Saturday, December 2, 2023. This workshop offers an amazing opportunity for individuals of all ages to experience the joy of working with glass. The workshop features three different classes: Glass Blowing (ages 8+), Kiln Forming (ages 5+), and Flame Working (ages 8+). In the Glass Blowing class, participants can create their own unique glass ornament in just 30 minutes. Using molten glass at a temperature of 2100F, participants will shape and color their creation, resulting in a one-of-a-kind glass treasure. The cost for this class is $60 per item. The Flame Working class allows participants to craft a Flamecicle, a beautiful glass item, in a 45-minute session. Working with colored and clear glass rods or tubes in front of an open torch, participants will melt and shape the glass using tools and gravity. This class is suitable for ages 8+ and costs $50 per item. For younger participants aged 5 and up, the Kiln Forming class offers the opportunity to create a stunning Snowflake. This 45-minute session involves cutting and layering sheet glass with glass frit and stringers to create a unique design. The assembled work will then be fired in an electric kiln to fuse the layers together. The cost for this class is $50 per item. Please note that class prices range from $50 to $95, and class duration ranges from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the specific class. The age limits for each class also vary.
