Experience the joy of working with glass at the Spark Workshop on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at SiNaCa Studios - School of Glass and Gallery in Fort Worth. This workshop offers two exciting options for participants aged 8 and above. In the Glass Blowing (ages 8+) Ornament session, you will have the opportunity to create a unique glass treasure. With a range of colors to choose from, you can manipulate the glass and shape it into a one-of-a-kind ornament. The class duration ranges from 30 to 90 minutes, and prices range from $50 to $95 per class. For those interested in flame working, the Flame Working (ages 8+) Santa Hat session is perfect. Using colored and clear glass rods or tubes, you will work in front of an open, gas-fueled torch to shape your item. This 45-minute session costs $50 per item. Don't forget to bring a completed form with you, or we will have blank forms available during class check-in. All participants are required to have a completed form on file. Please note that Glass Blowing involves working with molten glass at high temperatures, while Flame Working utilizes different types of glass rods. SiNaCa Studios exclusively uses Bullseye Glass in our kiln forming studio, where participants can learn kiln forming techniques.
