#TDKTuesday and Helm Gallery TourCome join the TDK group for a fun night as we explore Helm Gallery, the amazing artworks and artists it celebrates. We'll be at Helm Gallery till 6pm, and will then move to The Dorset Pub for drinks and creative chats. A chance to network and connect with fellow creatives from Brighton and Hove. #TDKTuesday is a monthly get together for creatives in the city and surrouding area of Brighton, we're part of The Design Kids a creative organisation from Australia and is a global community connecting designers, artists and illustrators across the world. Plan for the Night 5:30pm - Meet at Helm Gallery for tour, you are more than welcome to arrive earlier, have a drink, chat and spend time appreciating the beautiful artworks. 6pm - Head to The Dorset Pub for drinks and chats Meet our hostsHi there - I'm Mieke! I'm passionate about bright colours, working with small businesses and building strong client relationships! I love shapes, patterns and drawing little humans! I studied at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, and recently completed my Masters in Illustration at Falmouth University. When I'm not hosting TDK, I work part-time as a lecturer at the Brighon Film School and freelance as a Illustrator. I would love TDK Brighton to be a space for creatives to get together, share their stories and creative knowledge and building connections! Connect with Mieke, @Ulrike_mieke Hello!! I am millie ! I graduated in 2021 in Graphic Design. I am passionate about beautiful editorial design, I am an avid magazine lover and book collector, particularly publications that champion the creative industry and showcase inclusive art and design. I have a specific interest in the connection of traditional Graphic Design with contemporary art, culture and fashion. Since graduating I have experience working in Contemporary Art, Print, Graphic Design and Fashion fields. Looking forward to meeting the design community in Brighton!
