The Angry Run is an exciting multi-day event that forms part of the 7 Deadly Sins 7in7 series. In 2024, due to certain circumstances, this event will be held virtually. The Angry Run offers participants the flexibility to choose their preferred distance, whether it be a full Marathon, a Half Marathon, a 10k, or a 5k. Each race day in the 7 Deadly Sins series features a uniquely designed medal, giving participants the opportunity to earn up to seven different medals if they complete multiple races. On Thursday 18th January, race participants are required to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 for registration and to collect their race Bib. Registration closes at 9:45, and the races will commence promptly at 10:00. If you're interested in other races in the 7 Deadly Sins series, we have 'The Slothful Run' on Monday 15th January, 'The Proud Run' on Tuesday 16th January, 'The Lusty Run' on Wednesday 17th January, 'The Gluttonous Run' on Friday 19th January, 'The Greedy Run' on Saturday 20th January, and 'The Envious Run' on Sunday 21st January. Each race has its own dedicated webpage. The location for The Angry Run is Pengethley Manor in Peterstow, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 6LL. On the day of the event, participants can expect free parking, complimentary tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, as well as access to toilets. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend the race day, you have the option to participate virtually. Virtual runs can be completed on any day throughout the month of October, with a minimum distance requirement of 5k. Upon entering, participants will receive a personalized Virtual Bib as a keepsake. Virtual bookings can be made using the same system as the race, simply select the virtual option on the entry form. Entry fees remain the same and cover the administration of your virtual bib and additional postage and packaging costs. Please note that this event is open to both walkers and runners of any age, however, individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
