Harold Pinter ( b.1930) was the only Child from a East Europe working Class Jewish family. His father was a tailor, and he went to RADA to train as an actor; but hated it and left without finishing the course. During the 2nd world Blitz in London he was evacuated as a small child to Cornwall. Later, while touring Ireland with a crazy Shakespeare company he started writing plays . Deeply influenced by the theatre of the absurd. One of His first plays “The Dumb Waiter” has 2 criminals waiting for orders in a cellar from Above. The orders come, but the conclusions are shocking.

A very must experience to see, I highly recommend a night time visit as the lights make it come alive, although you can still get the vibe all day too! the area itself is busy, but safe. there are plenty of bars and food surrounding too! There is a selection of museums you can visit , educating on the history of sex workers.The only downfall for myself was the smell of urine from the outside toilets!

Amsterdam&#39;s Magel Bridge is an old bridge on the Amsterdam River. The first bridge was built in 1691 and because of its narrowness, locals call it Magel Bridge, literally &quot;the thin bridge&quot;. In 1934, the bridge was removed and replaced by a lean bridge of the same design. Since 2003, the bridge has been used only for pedestrians and cyclists. The center section is open multiple times a day to allow river traffic to pass through.
