Join Cotswold Canals Connected and partners, Stroudwater Textile Trust, at the Lansdown Hall & Gallery in Stroud for a special festive event - 'The Red Buttons'. This musical storytelling performance, created and performed by Playcircle, brings to life a captivating Christmas tale inspired by the rich history of the Stroudwater Canal. 'The Red Buttons' takes you on a journey along the canal, highlighting its significant landmarks and showcasing the thriving cloth and coal industries that once flourished in the area. With the support of Stroudwater Textile Trust, this performance offers both educational and entertaining elements, providing young children with valuable insight into the local cloth industry. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, December 1, from 7pm to 8pm, as part of the Goodwill Evening in Stroud. Unfortunately, tickets for this performance are already sold out. However, there is another opportunity to experience 'The Red Buttons' at the Methodist Church in Stonehouse on Saturday, November 18, at 1pm.
