Join Draw Brighton for a relaxed and tutored life drawing class in our art studio located in Brighton. This week's topic is "Starting a Figure Drawing with Gesture." Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills, this session is suitable for all abilities. Led by experienced tutor and artist Lancelot Richardson, each week will focus on a different aspect of life drawing. You can drop in for a one-off session or attend them all for a more comprehensive course. 

The class begins with a 20-minute tutored segment on the topic of the week, followed by a series of exercises with an unclothed model. Lancelot will be on hand throughout the session to provide guidance and feedback. We also offer a 1-3pm untutored life drawing session with Lancelot for an additional fee. 

While some basic drawing materials will be available for free, we encourage you to bring your own. Easels, chairs, drawing boards, and tables are provided on a first come, first served basis. 

Our studio is located at New England House on New England Street. There is parking available at nearby car parks, and Brighton station is just a 5-minute walk away.

Had my first date here with my partner and we hadthe best time. An amazing aquarium with abeautiful atmosphere, lights and gorgeouscreatures! I love animals and fish and seeing themhere was wonderful. Staff were lovely and veryknowledgeable. The place was clean, easy tonavigate and extremely ambient and beautiful. We went on a Thursday afternoon so was pretty quiet!

One of the best piers in the South of England. There is lots to do with tons of seaside rides, fun arcade games and food. Highly recommend catching the sunset here and if you&rsquo;re lucky you might catch the starlings dancing at dusk, I didn&rsquo;t know they do this and it was the most spectacular striking and stunning natural phenomenon I had seen, it was mesmerising. Highest chances of seeing the starlings dance is between November-March, we visited in early March
