What is it? TwerXout is a dance (twerk) based fitness class, where you can learn basic twerk techniques and practice them in dance combos.
What is Twerk? Twerking is a dance characterized by rhythmic shaking or gyrating of the hips and booty, originating from African and Afro-diasporic traditions and popularized in mainstream culture, particularly within hip hop and rap music, it's most recent form deriving from New Orleans Bounce culture.
Who is it for? For anyone wanting to learn how to shake that booty and dance and feel great (it is proven that twerking releases stress!)
We will learn some beginner basics, but the main focus will lie on having fun!
What do I need? Loose pants, you do not have to wear shorts, but nothing that holds your flesh from moving
About me: I have been dancing for over 8 years now and found my love for twerk 5 years ago, since then it is my favorite thing to do and it has taught me to move and appreciate my body in a way I could not have imagined possible. I want to share that feeling with others!
