The thrilling finale of the 2023 Intense Downhill race series, the Eastern States Cup, is making its highly-anticipated return to Killington. Taking place on October 14-15 at the Ramshead Lodge, this event is the final stop of the Maxxis Eastern States Cup's Downhill race series. Volunteers are needed to ensure the smooth running of the event, with various shift times and duties available. On Saturday, October 14, volunteers can take on the role of Downhill Course Marshal from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Sunday, October 15, there are two opportunities to get involved as a Downhill Course Marshal: from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Before volunteering, make sure to fill out the Express Assumption of Risk form. This can be done by clicking HERE or following the link in the confirmation email you'll receive after signing up. Volunteering comes with its perks, as each daily shift entitles volunteers to a Killington lift ticket, valid for one year from the original earned date. Additionally, a bagged lunch will be provided at the start of each shift. As a course marshal, your responsibility is to ensure rider safety and traffic control along the race course.
