The Lioness Instincts, fiscally sponsored by The Hack Foundation, is on a mission to empower women to protect themselves in both the physical and digital world. With a focus on women in shelters, The Lioness Instincts provides essential skills and equipment to help women thrive in today's challenging world. During this action-packed self-defense class, you will learn essential techniques and gain the confidence to protect yourself in any situation. Experienced instructors will guide you through practical exercises and teach you effective strategies to enhance your personal safety. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this in-person event is open to all. The class will focus on ground techniques such as proper falling and standing up, controlling in your guard, and escaping when someone is on top of you. To ensure the best instructional assistance, the class is limited to 16 individuals. If tickets are sold out, you can check the upcoming events page for future opportunities. Choose from two ticket options: a single admission ticket for $35 or a package of two admission tickets for $60. Comfortable workout clothes and water are recommended, and please note that shoes are not worn on the mat. A waiver will be required to sign before getting on the mats.
