¿Quién es Freddy Ginebra? Se define a sí mismo como «un hombre que sueña constantemente y persigue sus sueños», considerado por la República Dominicana como “arte en su máxima expresión”. Un artista respetado y admirado, escritor, periodista y promotor de la cultura.
Ginebra es el fundador de la Casa de Teatro, un nido donde nacieron y se desarrollaron, (y siguen naciendo) artistas que encontraron allí un lugar donde florecer y ser.
La Casa de Teatro se creó en 1974, y desde entonces se convirtió en una joya para los amantes de la cultura, la buena música, las obras de teatro, la fotografía, la poesía, la pintura, la danza y muchas otras cosas.
Pero Freddy, no solo es reconocido por ser el creador de este tesoro cultural, sino también por su pluma, ya que fue autor de varios libros. Entre ellos se encuentran: «Antes que pierda la memoria», “Celebrando la vida”, “Secretos compartidos” etc.

Freddy Ginebra ha dedicado su vida a enaltecer la cultura del país con sus valiosos aportes con los que pretende dejar una huella indeleble en el acervo cultural de cada dominicano y de las futuras generaciones.
