TangshengshengAfter spending two days at the top of Huangshan, I returned and stayed here again, and it felt even more comfortable. The hotel is very close to Yuping Cableway, with a shortcut staircase just a few minutes' walk away, allowing you to avoid the shuttle buses. It's also very near the Ciguang Pavilion hiking entrance, again with a shortcut staircase for direct hiking. This makes it perfect for guests who want to explore Huangshan in depth.
The hotel boasts beautiful scenery and an artistic design. You can see the majestic Tiandu Peak and the spectacular Renzi Waterfall, and at night, you fall asleep to the sound of flowing water. The butler service was excellent â very responsive, accommodating every request, and able to arrange everything in advance. Thumbs up!
The driver was very skilled, navigating the mountain roads smoothly without causing any motion sickness, and provided timely pick-ups and drop-offs at the high-speed rail station. Thumbs up!
The tea from the lady at the tea room was delightful and refreshing. Thumbs up!
The restaurant food was delicious, and the chef's skills were top-notch. Thumbs up! The waitstaff were also very pleasant. Thumbs up! Housekeeping was prompt and the room was very clean. Thumbs up! I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan.

You can truly feel that this isn't just a perfunctory business operation; they've truly dedicated themselves to creating an exceptional product and service.
The furnishings and daily amenities in the rooms are of high quality, and everything is meticulously maintained, clean, and elegant. Fresh flowers adorn every corner, both indoors and out in the courtyard. Nestled against the mountain, enveloped by mist and clouds, the entire hotel exudes a unique tranquility found only in the mountains and forestsâpeaceful and restorative.
Every staff member here looks relaxed and treats guests with warmth and enthusiasm. There's no forced politeness, just perfectly attentive service. My personal butler was especially thoughtful, always anticipating my minor needs in advance, making me feel completely at ease and well cared for.
I wasn't feeling well and casually mentioned wanting some millet porridge. They went out of their way to arrange it. These small acts of kindness are what truly touch the heart.
They say Shilin Cliffs is the best hotel in Huangshan, and experiencing it firsthand, I now understand that this reputation is well-deserved. The price is indeed on the higher side, but all the wonderful experiences complement each other perfectly. The excellent environment, thoughtful details, and attentive service all justify the cost.
Itâs rare to find such a comfortable and soothing haven in the mountains, a place to slow down and find peace. It was a comfortable and truly healing stay, and when I return to Huangshan in the future, I will choose this place again.

Just came down from Huangshan! I can't recommend Baiyun Hotel enough! Staying on the mountain is absolutely fantastic. No need to trek up in the dark before dawn to catch the sunrise đ
đThe location is unbeatable! It's super close to Bright Summit. In the morning, you can just bundle up in your blanket and walk 10 minutes to the viewing platform. After watching the sunrise, you can head straight back to your room for more sleep â this experience is just perfect!
â¨The room was better than I expected! I thought conditions on the mountain would be really bad, but it was very clean, and there was plenty of hot water. It is a bit small though, so it might be cramped for two people with large suitcases.
đExcellent service! The front desk staff proactively offered hiking poles and even helped us plan our route. Although the restaurant's prices are a bit high, the portions are generous. I recommend the Smelly Mandarin Fish!
â ď¸Heads-up: The soundproofing isn't great; you can hear neighbors packing in the morning. I suggest choosing a higher floor for better views~
Overall, just go for it! For those who want to see the sunrise but don't want to overexert themselves, this is definitely the right choice!

I was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price.
Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good.
Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room.
The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself.
I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint.
There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets.
Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.

My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill.
My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5âstar hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by âXiao Baoâ were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever.
Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an Englishâspeaking staff member who took care of every detail for usâbooking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything weâve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure.
Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isnât usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible viewâeven on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshanâs beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience.
The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didnât visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings.
This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like youâre the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels Iâve stayed at anywhere in the world. Itâs a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I canât wait to return!

The Jiuhua Mountains Julong Hotel, which is conveniently located right at the entrance of the Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. It was very convenient to venture around the mountain by foot. As for food, we didnât quite get accustomed to the flavors, especially with the spices. The breakfast at Julong Hotel was good, but it can get crowded before 8 am. There is no gym in the hotel. It snowed on the 3rd day and it was chilly. The room was equiped with heater so it was ok. The walkway outside the hotel room can be very noisy, especially with kids running and adults talking. Otherwise, the overall experience was good.

Guest UserHighly recommend! My stay was perfect. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable. Selina, our butler, proactively reached out the day before to coordinate, and her service was incredibly thoughtful. Upon check-in, ladies even received a pink Diana rose, which was such a lovely touch! The executive lounge and breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. The hotel's location next to MixC shopping mall and the museum made getting around, shopping, and visiting exhibitions super convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hefei!

My stay in Tingquan Xiaoyuan has been absolutely delightful.
I booked a long stay here as a retreat and break from the work and it is exactly everything I need to unwind and recharge.
The guesthouse ran by a husband and wife team are so hospitable and go the extra mile to make sure my stay here is relaxing and I have everything I need to work and go about my day.
The room i am staying in is very brightly lighted with a desk for me to work. I have to say the bed is also very comfortable and I have been sleeping well every night.
The surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil, with gardens and flowers and mountain peaks in the distance. I am rather glad I am staying here in the valley instead of near the centre.
In terms of service, the boss is very helpful and responsive to my messages when we need to ask any question or require a pick up after the hikes. The lady boss is similarly extremely friendly, warm and kind and ensure my needs and well being is looked after every day. She cared for me like her own family.
I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help a foreigner like me who struggle with the language.
I would strongly recommend this lovely and cosy guesthouse to any local and foreigner who is looking for an amazing visit to Huangshan for a few days or up to a month. They will ensure you are well taken care of and your stay is absolutely delightful.

Fresh back from working abroad, my family and I made our first stop straight for Huangshan. I stumbled upon your guesthouse on Ctrip and was instantly smitten.
The moment we stepped in, the walls were covered with blooming roses, so gentle and soothing, instantly washing away all my fatigue. The housekeeper was incredibly thoughtful, accompanying us throughout, helping us take so many beautiful photos, just like a natural friend. The food was an even bigger surprise; we tasted the most authentic flavors, and they even used their own cold-pressed rapeseed oil â truly heartfelt down to the core.
The environment was quiet and comfortable, providing a sense of relaxation I hadn't experienced in a long time, truly healing for the soul. In the afternoon, sitting in the tea garden behind the guesthouse, zoning out, unwinding, and sipping tea, with not a single worry on my mind. This is what travel should be like: peaceful, warm, full of life, and poetic.

âââ Light on Quality, Heavy on Service â Average Stay
The pictures of Mishoohi Secret Land Hotel (Huangshan Bay Scenic Area) look absolutely beautiful online, but our actual experience was a bit mixed. While itâs not a bad place to stay, the facilities are quite worn down, and the overall quality feels average compared to what is advertised.
### The Pros:
* **Amazing Staff:** The team is young, incredibly friendly, and eager to help.
* **Great Tour Booking:** We booked our local tours directly through the hotel. The staff member who assisted us was exceptionally kind, making the entire coordination process seamless and stress-free.
### The Cons:
* **Worn-Down Facilities:** The property is showing its age. It definitely needs some maintenance and upgrades to match the premium look shown in the photos.
ďź **Final Verdict:** The heartwarming service from the young staff almost makes up for the tired property, but next time, I would likely choose a different hotel in the area for better room quality.
