Nestled amidst the mountains, I'm really content with the environment and facilities here. Plus, you can catch both the sunrise and sunset from Aoyu Peak, and it's quite close to Bright Summit. Since all the trash and drinking water are manually carried, it's clear we're guests in a natural environment. Therefore, we should especially cherish and protect this natural heritage. I hope everyone tries to produce less waste, always disposes of trash in designated areas along the way, and refrains from smoking. Let's preserve this beautiful natural landscape for future generations and the small animals that live here.

The facilities are complete, odorless, and relatively clean. The mini-bar drinks in the room are complimentary. Upon check-in, they provided slippers and a kaleidoscope for the child, as well as a welcome fruit platter. When checking out, we received a bag of souvenirs. The restaurant on the first floor offers a wide variety of dishes, and all the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, are incredibly friendly. Thumbs up! 👍 My child had a great time! 🥳 Food delivery is brought up to the room by a robot, which is a nice touch. It would be even better if the scent in the hallway was a bit milder.

Just got home! We're guests from Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, and we want to give a huge shout-out to Xihai Hotel for your excellent service! I originally thought the hotel was a bit pricey just because of its prime mountaintop location, a scarce resource. But from the moment we checked in, we experienced the incredibly thoughtful, meticulous, and perfect service from the Xihai team [strong][strong]. First, they gifted two breakfast vouchers for my two kids who are just under 1.3 meters tall. Our room's electric heater was already turned on, making it warm and cozy. There were also down jackets provided, which were perfect for staying warm while watching the sunrise early in the morning. The kids absolutely loved the wonderful evening performance! [strong][strong][strong] The breakfast was both abundant and delicious! [strong][strong][strong] The only thing that would make it even more perfect is if there were wontons for breakfast [grin].

The hotel has been newly renovated, and the facilities are quite complete. However, it's a hotel converted from an office building, so the soundproofing isn't great; I could clearly hear conversations from next door. The location is pretty good though – just 100 meters out, cross the sky bridge at night, and there's a street food night market. The cleanliness was decent, but the bathroom had a slight odor when I first entered the room. The environment was okay. The service was enthusiastic. Even though I arrived early and my reserved room wasn't ready, they offered to upgrade my room if I waited half an hour. In the end, it was still the room I originally booked, which wasn't a big deal. However, the noise from conversations and laughter next door at noon made it impossible to rest. After only a few minutes in the room, I asked to switch, and they eventually moved me to a room with a mahjong machine.

I'm giving this five stars. First, let me address the downsides: 1. Hotels in Huangshan are incredibly expensive during holidays. It was 2000 RMB a night during the Qingming Festival. The buffet is 180 RMB, and kids under 140cm are half price. So, check your wallet first. 2. This hotel is great for kids, but there's no elevator, so seniors will have to walk up several flights of stairs. Now for the advantages: 1. It's expensive for a reason. Firstly, the hotel is relatively new and well-equipped. You have to remember that Bright Summit is at an altitude of 1860 meters, and all along the way, I saw porters carrying supplies. It's incredibly difficult to transport so many goods to the mountaintop. During holidays, when it's crowded, finding a comfortable hotel and spending two days hiking Huangshan is truly rejuvenating. 2. The kids loved it! The hotel has a great design. Right outside our room on the fourth floor, there was a Mario character sitting there, which my son adored. The arcade machines in the lobby are free, and kids were constantly gathered around them. Even adults from the '80s generation would spend ages playing. 3. I thought the 180 RMB buffet was pretty good; all the dishes tasted great. The cured meats like bacon and sausage were very authentic, and there was fermented tofu (Mao Doufu) and many other local specialties. The food was genuinely delicious. After a day of hiking, you're ravenous, and I ate a lot of short ribs, prawns, and warm kudzu powder (with a bit of fried rice, honey, and raisins – a real comfort for my stomach). I especially loved their pie-like pastry; it was so good, with preserved vegetables inside and what seemed like highland barley flour for the crust. My son is 140cm, so he got half price, making it 270 RMB for both of us, which is actually cheaper than ordering à la carte outside. 4. Originally, I wanted to stay at Bright Summit and Baiyun Pavilion to catch the sunrise. However, Danxia Peak near Paiyunlou offers excellent sunrise and sunset views, and crucially, it's less crowded and very close by. The hotel's 'little butler' (concierge) told me the sunrise and sunset times, with a 55% chance of seeing them. We were incredibly lucky during our stay and witnessed both morning and evening, leaving very satisfied. 5. From here, the next day, you can go to the West Sea Grand Canyon, take the small train, and then head down the mountain. Taste: Good Ambiance: Beautiful Service: Attentive

If you want to have the Guest-Greeting Pine all to yourself and climb Tiandu Peak, choosing this hotel is absolutely worth every penny! Staying here made my Huangshan trip so much more relaxing and worry-free!!! The staff were incredibly warm and patient. Coming back after climbing Tiandu Peak and being able to just lie down in bed felt amazing! The breakfast was delicious too! Also, if you stay at this hotel, definitely go up and down Tiandu Peak the old way (same path up and down). If you go up the old way and down the new way, your legs will feel like they don't belong to you anymore 🙈🙈

Ms Xu and Mr Wang were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Despite it being a last-minute request, Mr Wang kindly arranged a pickup for us and patiently guided us through with the use of WeChat. Ms Xu is a soft-spoken and kind lady who went the extra mile to assist us—she carefully walked us through the Huangshan map and provided valuable advice for our trip. When I returned two nights later to collect my luggage( free storage), she did not hesitate to help coordinate transportation with my next hotel, which I truly appreciated. The location is excellent—just directly across from the entrance to the national park—and the service is outstanding. The room was also very comfortable and offered great value for the price.

The room is relatively clean, the equipment is smart, the room towels are put in the disinfection cabinet, the breakfast is also delicious 😋, the surrounding eating and shopping is also very convenient, the front desk service is not bad

Although the room was a bit small, it was well-equipped, clean, and very cozy. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, as well as fruits. All the cutlery was sterilized in a disinfection cabinet and still warm when we picked it up. The staff were all smiles and very friendly. We had an excellent stay for one night, and I highly recommend this place.

Facilities: Well-maintained. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff (Dajie) cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day, even asking about preferences and providing two extra bottles of water, which was a nice touch. Environment: There's road construction nearby, but the underpass is open, so driving is still quite convenient. Service: I especially want to commend Miss Lyra! She recommended so many great restaurants and photo spots – super thoughtful!
