The front desk service was excellent! Check-in was quick, and they even guided us to our room. The cleanliness was top-notch; no dust in the corners, and the bedding was soft, dry, and had a faint, pleasant scent. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation and was very clean. Liu Zhuang Night Market is just a short walk to the left when you exit, and the beach is also a nice stroll away. The room was fully equipped, with plenty of hot water, and the soundproofing was great, ensuring a peaceful and sound sleep. They even have a gym and a play area for kids! Plus, laundry facilities are available. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beidaihe.

The Tang Xiao Zhu Metropark International Hotel has a fantastic environment, facing Nanhu Lake and just a stone's throw from Hetou Old Street. This was one of the main reasons I chose to stay here. Upon checking in, I discovered that the service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff are incredibly well-trained and professional. As soon as you enter the lobby, there are guides to direct you to the front desk for check-in, dining, or even to the elevators, where someone is there to help you select your floor. The service is truly warm and attentive. I dined on the second floor, and the restaurant was spotless. They use Tangshan porcelain, which is incredibly white and upscale, giving a great sense of hygiene. The breakfast on the first floor was also very authentic and down-to-earth, featuring dishes that locals love, and it was very abundant. The restaurant clearly puts a lot of thought into its preparations. What's more, the extra inclusions in the hotel fee were very practical. Not only did they provide fruit, but also tickets to Hetou Old Street and a complimentary shuttle service to take guests there, which is incredibly convenient. So, it's definitely worth experiencing this hotel. Overall, I was very satisfied with the dining, accommodation, and service.

I spent three nights at the hotel 15th April to 18th. When I checked into the room the temperature in room was 28C. I set the thermostat at 22C but no change. I opened the window and somehow it became bearable. Next day same story but on third day when I got to room the temperature was 30C. It will not cool down.  I got to know from the staff that the hotel has turned off the cooling function. They do not provide any environment control. The staff offered me to change the room but the other room also did not had a working AC. I failed to understand how come can a hotel management make such an inhuman decision. This is pure shame to the intercontinental brand - I am sure if it was in USA the property will be closed by the city official till they fix the issues. I guess stay away from the hotel if a good night is your requirement.  The housekeeping and the front staff was very helpful but they could not do anything besides saying sorry. They tried to offer me a gift which I could not accept.  Based on my experience I will not recommend this hotel as they can shut down any service without any regard to the guest experience or comfort. I guess their bottom line is more important !!!

The hotel is located right next to the Hebei Museum in Shijiazhuang, literally just downstairs, and the surrounding shopping malls are also very close, which is super convenient. Everything about the hotel is top-notch. It's a landmark building, quite tall, offering great views of Shijiazhuang's night lights. The room was clean and comfortable, and they even provided complimentary drinks. The only minor downsides were that during the Chinese New Year, there were a lot of guests, so breakfast service was a bit slow, and finding a seat was a challenge. Other than that, I couldn't find any faults. The room facilities were also very new. Overall, my stay was incredibly pleasant.

I initially thought I'd just settle for any place while traveling, but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and bright, with everything you need, so it didn't feel cramped or stuffy. I had a really peaceful night's sleep. All the staff were very polite and quick to respond if I had any questions. Plus, the off-season price was really affordable. Honestly, no complaints at all. After my stay, I just have to say: it was absolutely worth every penny, book it without hesitation, you won't regret it!

As foreign travellers, we ran into some difficulties purchasing attraction tickets and bus transfer due to lack of a local phone number. We met David at the concierge and asked if we could get some help to purchase. Without hesitation, he offered to purchase on our behalf and even followed up with the attraction to confirm the arrangement. Thanks to his help, we were able to visit the attraction smoothly the next day without any issues. He made us feel very welcome, and his help left us with a wonderful impression of Handan☺️ Thanks David!

Staying at Chengde Qiwanglou Hotel truly felt like a home away from home. First off, it's not a towering high-rise, which immediately gives it a cozy, homely vibe. Plus, the hotel doesn't cater to a massive number of guests, only about a hundred or so at most, meaning they can offer a more personalized and attentive service, or as I'd put it, 'meticulous care.' This included thoughtful touches like having snacks, candies, and refreshing drinks available at the entrance, and sewing kits and other small emergency items in the hallways of each building. From the moment you step in, everyone you encounter at this hotel actively engages with guests, listening carefully to their suggestions and needs. This level of personalized interaction is something I haven't experienced in hotels in recent years, and it's truly commendable. Guests who've stayed even just one day are greeted by the hotel's cat rubbing against their legs as soon as they walk in – it's incredibly heartwarming! The restaurant staff were all very dedicated, helping guests choose dishes and ensuring nothing went to waste, which was lovely. When they heard we enjoyed millet porridge, they even sold us some to take back to Beijing! One staff member, Zhi, proactively offered to buy us tofu (from Zhang Yu), which was a huge convenience. Mr. Yu Changhong (Xiao Yu) provides exceptional service, treating every guest like family, and truly fosters that 'home away from home' feeling. I do have a small suggestion: it would be great if the hotel could keep two electronic blood pressure monitors and phone charging cables on hand. When guests book a room, especially if they are elderly, it could be noted that a blood pressure monitor can be provided in their room, saving them the hassle of bringing their own. Having charging cables readily available would also alleviate any worries about charging phones.

The price of this environment and this service is at the entrance of the scenic spot. I can say that it is not too awkward. I will stay here next time. I also recommend his dish 👍. It is not delicious. It is cheaper than the county seat. The amount is still large. It is recommended that the boss put less. It is wasted if you can't finish it. All in all, I will come back in the summer. The child is also very comfortable

Facilities: It has everything you'd expect: a bathtub, a large bed, and an ergonomic chair. A pleasant surprise was the humidifier, but unfortunately, the air conditioning was broken, which was a downside. Also, there was no executive lounge, which was disappointing. Special shout-out to the swimming pool, it was excellent. Cleanliness: Good. Service: I'd like to give a special mention to Esther at the front desk; her service was warm, thoughtful, and absolutely wonderful.

I stumbled upon this hotel in Shijiazhuang and was absolutely blown away by the starry ceiling – I literally couldn't sleep! The stars on the ceiling aren't fixed; you can even adjust their brightness and flickering frequency. Watching movies at night with the projection on, and the starry background complementing the plot, really immerses you in the experience. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was exceptional. Parking right downstairs was super convenient, and the front desk service was efficient and enthusiastic, making check-in and check-out a breeze. All the disposable amenities were provided, and I especially appreciated the razor. The bath towels were soft and gentle on the skin. To find such a high-value, starry-themed hotel in Shijiazhuang was a real surprise. It's definitely on my list of hidden gems, and I'll be staying here again on my next visit!
