It's a 10-minute walk from the airport.
Thumbs up to the receptionist! She was very welcoming and even proactively contacted the taxi driver via voice message.
The location is excellent, close to Dhaka Airport and can be reached in 15 minutes. The hotel rooms are OK, but they pale in comparison to other Le Meridien hotels in other areas. The buffet on the 15th floor is also delicious. The only drawback is that the rent is very expensive compared to Bangladesh, a backward country.
One of the best hotel u can find in Dhaka, everything are exceptional. They upgrade me to executive room (as im having platinum elite status)
Staff are awesome, definitely will stay again!
The hotel is clean, the environment is quiet and comfortable, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the facilities are complete and beyond expectations. It is a very satisfactory stay.
Hotel staff was very helpful and efficient. They did their best to help with early check in when I told I really need to get some sleep before my appointment and they managed to get me a room immediately.
Also when my room has some leaking issues by the Duty Manager, Shawn immediately transferred me to another broom and extended my check out time
Recommend this hotel highly.
Our stay at intercontinental was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were impeccably clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time.
The windows in the guest rooms cannot be opened. What is the point of designing a balcony? The luxury suite has lost its inherent functional conditions. The swimming pool is great, no one is disturbing, the water quality is excellent, and it has depth and length, which fully reflects the freedom given to guests. The lady who checks the security at the entrance is rather rude, shouting at guests, unprofessional, and the experience is not good.
My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights. The experience was excellent from check in to check out. The staff were professional and attentive, with strong attention to detail.
I would like to clarify one issue related to room service. One night I ordered soup due to stomach discomfort. While ordering, I clearly stated that I needed absolutely no spice, not even mildly spicy. Despite this, the soup delivered was very spicy, with visible spices on top. After the first sip, my lips were burning. The staff immediately offered to replace the dish. In the meantime, my girlfriend exchanged meals with me, which resolved the issue.
Breakfast was exceptional. The view from the room window was very pleasant. One minor observation is that the barrier around the pool felt quite high.okay
Special thanks to Ishteaque Mohammed, Executive Sales and Marketing. He assisted me before the booking process. I had many questions and concerns prior to confirming the reservation, and he provided clear, helpful information that made the booking decision easy and reassuring.
Great clean western hotel in a nice central area. Supermarkets/amenities nearby (especially enjoyed the Moja Korean Restaurant across the street)
Liked the breakfast! Likes the gym (it's fine for workout during travels). View from rooftop is also good. Got a juice and a hot towel at check in, also nice gesture.
10/10 Would come again.
Everything was simply delicious—from the food to the service to the overall vibe. UMPHHH! ✨ Five stars all the way!
The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Every meal was a highlight—flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care. The rooms were cozy yet elegant, and the entire property had a refreshing, modern feel.
Amari Dhaka truly knows how to deliver comfort, class, and culinary bliss. Can't wait to return!

GGuest UserThe staff in this hotel are the most professional and courteous I’ve ever encountered especially Salahuddin and Amin. Food for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Bed and bed linen was very comfortable. Gym and pool facilities are very good. Only complaints are was the front desk staff insisting we register with IHG in order to get wifi, this was at 3am after arriving from the airport from a long flight and also the temperature in the room could not be controlled so it became quite warm and uncomfortable at times.

JJanicsonIf the hotel's bathroom does not have an exhaust system, it will have a peculiar smell, which is very annoying, but there are no other problems. The breakfast is quite rich and the staff are friendly and polite.

GGuest UserThe location was good and the hotel was quite clean. However, the service was not great. The security and the hotel manager were keep asking me room number every single time I returned to the hotel. I have a key and they should make their lift service key control rather than this type of epic manual check! For business and travel purposes ,I have been to over 20 countries so far and never experienced this type of repeated question regarding the room number which is a bit annoying. Maybe a Bangladeshi thing !
