This hotel experience was a perfect one! Not only is the decor so stylish it's instantly appealing, but the value-added services are incredibly thoughtful, down to the last detail—there's a convenient airport pickup, a cafeteria open late at night, and welcome fruit.
The most surprising thing was the butler service. They arranged an airport drop-off a few days before my stay, so I didn't have to worry about it. After my stay, they also provided precise recommendations for local restaurants and fun activities. The entire experience was truly fantastic.

Let's start with the positives: First, the location is excellent. It's really convenient for getting to the train station, attractions, and shopping centers. Second, all the staff at the hotel are great, especially the room cleaners. They're incredibly responsive, always willing to help, and have the kindest demeanor. They were the only ones who genuinely smiled among all the hotel staff. After they finished cleaning, I thanked them, and the lady just smiled and said, 'You're welcome.' I'd gladly pay a premium for their service. Third, while the rooms aren't equipped with high-tech gadgets, they are clean and hygienic.
Now for the negatives: First, there was a middle-aged man standing near the hotel's drop-off point. I'm a woman in my sixties, and I arrived with my daughter and young grandson. This man stood about five paces away, didn't even glance our way, let alone help us with our luggage from the car. I honestly thought he was just a prop. Given the fantastic service from the cleaners, I was ready to give the hotel a perfect score. However, when I checked out, my daughter had already taken the child skiing. I was alone, pulling my suitcase, carrying a backpack, and a large bag of local specialties out of the hotel lobby. I happened to see him helping a young man with his luggage into the entrance. The young man had nothing but a camera in his hand. This man looked at me, then turned and walked out. I was speechless. I gave the hotel service a perfect score because I truly didn't want one bad apple to spoil the whole bunch.
Second, I booked a kids' room. It wasn't very big and had a small tent. The trade-off was that there was no sofa; you basically stepped straight from the door onto the bed. If your child isn't particularly fond of playing in tents, there's really no need to book a kids' room.
Third, the hotel breakfast seemed to offer Chinese, Western, and Mongolian options, but none of them were particularly good. The restaurant staff, however, were very nice.
Fourth, because the hotel didn't provide disposable combs, I mistakenly thought a comb my daughter had brought was a hotel amenity. When I checked out, I tidied up the room a bit, and there was a comb on the bathroom counter. Two days later, my daughter asked me for her comb, and that's when I realized it was hers. The hotel didn't call me during this time. When I called to ask, they said it would cost 18 yuan to ship it from Hohhot to Beijing, at my expense. Given the comb itself only cost 20 yuan, I decided to let it go. This incident completely extinguished any desire I had to stay at your hotel again.

Staying at this hotel while visiting the city truly unlocks an authentic local experience! The hotel seamlessly integrates local cultural elements into its decor, making every corner feel artistic and incredibly photogenic. The front desk staff are incredibly knowledgeable about local attractions and cuisine, patiently recommending off-the-beaten-path routes and even helping with booking tickets for scenic spots, which saved me so much hassle. The room was spacious and clean, with new and complete facilities. Though the price was moderate, the service felt five-star. For breakfast, you can enjoy authentic local snacks made with fresh ingredients and genuine flavors – it's fantastic value for money. If you're visiting this city, I highly recommend staying here!

Baotou Shangri-La Hotel is simply amazing. The check-in experience is really good. Before I checked in, the hotel housekeeper Miss Bai Huimin called me in advance to arrange a satisfactory room for me. The front desk check-in attitude was also very good. The room facilities and equipment are very complete, the hygiene is particularly good, and a small gift with Inner Mongolia characteristics was given when I checked out. In short, it was a very good experience. I will definitely choose here next time!

I was a bit worried at first, but the room turned out to be really great, with no trace of any renovation smell. The facilities were excellent, definitely worth the price. The kids had a blast too. I'm very satisfied with the hotel. Due to time constraints, the kids only spent two hours at the amusement park, and many attractions were closed because it was the off-season and quite windy. I recommend checking activity changes and operating hours in advance after booking.

Let's start with the positives: The overall service, from the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties, was quite good. The location is also excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The room was spacious, and it even had a bathtub.
Now for the negatives: There was only one duvet per room, with no extras, just a blanket. This isn't a huge issue, but the next morning, I woke up with fresh red bites all over my body and arms. I just wanted to report this to the hotel, but then 2-3 people came up, supposedly to solve the problem, and immediately asked, ”Did you go to the grasslands? These must be mosquito bites. Our duvets are disinfected, so there shouldn't be any problem.” I was speechless. First, we had just arrived in Hailar and hadn't even been to the grasslands yet. Second, if the bites were above my waist, would mosquitoes really bite me while I was under the covers? Do you change the duvet inserts for every guest? They wouldn't admit there was a problem and instead tried to push the blame onto the customer. It would have been better if they hadn't sent anyone at all. We didn't make any further demands; we just checked out and left.
Reception is very helpful and extremely welcoming.. Mariott always lives up to its name. It's the only hotel that allows me to change money into smaller change.
Room is comfortable and cosy. Worth every single cent. Location is great too. 2 malls are within walking distance.

If you're looking for an excellent hotel in Chifeng, Yulong International Hotel is undoubtedly the best choice. It boasts a convenient location near the city center, with expansive grounds and generously sized rooms. The attention to detail in the room's furniture and soft furnishings is remarkable, evident in everything from the wallpaper to the decorative accents. It's a treat to stay in a property designed by I.M. Pei's team. We also received a complimentary room upgrade, and they even provided a free extra bed for our child. Highly recommended!

We had to change rooms because we found an insect. To make matters worse, while getting settled, I accidentally scalded my arm with hot water while preparing tea. A staff member kindly provided some ointment, but it was still quite painful.
The new room, unfortunately, was on an upper floor facing the main road and lacked proper soundproofing. We could hear traffic noise throughout the night, which is far from ideal for light sleepers or elderly guests sensitive to noise.
Adding to our troubles, the strip lights in the room couldn't be turned off. It was too bright to sleep, and despite not wanting to bother anyone late at night, I had to call an engineer again to fix it. We were told the ballast was broken. It was just one thing after another!
As a gesture, they waived the charges for our drinks and water, amounting to over 40 yuan. Honestly, I wasn't looking for compensation; I just felt completely worn out, physically and mentally, after the injury and all the accumulated hassles.
This was our experience. To be fair, despite these specific issues, our overall stay wasn't entirely bad. Bugs can appear anywhere, and thorough pest control might prevent them. However, lights shouldn't be faulty, especially in a hotel. Perhaps this Wanda property is getting a bit old.
(The attached photo was taken on the third day. I hadn't initially planned on writing a review, which is why I didn't take pictures of the issues as they occurred.)

The hotel lobby is exceptionally elegant, with many solid wood decorations. Presenting a hada (a ceremonial scarf) upon entry is a very ceremonial experience, which the children loved.
Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick. During the National Day holiday, they even proactively upgraded us to a suite with a beautiful view of Wulanmulun Lake.
The breakfast selection was quite extensive. The mutton noodles were inconsistent in quality; they were delicious the first day but too bland the second, though overall very tasty.
The bedding was comfortable, but the room was quite hot; we had to open the window to sleep at night, perhaps because of the underfloor heating. Although the hotel just opened this year, two rooms had different odors: one was almost odorless and well-ventilated, while the other had a strong aromatherapy smell and poor ventilation. The staff said it was an automatic air-purifying system, but it couldn't completely shut off the odor… The front desk and lobby staff were very welcoming, but the service response was too slow. On the first day, we called to ask our child for toiletries, and they said they were out of stock. The next day, when we went to the front desk, they provided them. We don't know if they genuinely didn't have them or if there was another reason.
Overall, it was very good, but the room service could be improved. I would recommend it to friends and hope it will be better next time.

XXieyuanyuanAs luck would have it, we all work in the government affairs system, and we naturally developed a good impression before we even checked in! The hotel has a beautiful natural environment, standardized management, and is not far from various scenic spots in the city. The front desk staff who checked in at the Guobin Building 11 were polite, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and responsive. Zhang Yanan, the manager of the housekeeping department, personally sent us to the room, introduced the relevant facilities of the room, and sent welcome fruits. The area in the room is relatively large. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are still well maintained, and there are full of details everywhere, giving people a feeling of being at home. The breakfast is currently a set meal, with a reasonable price and good taste. Next time I come to Hohhot, I will choose Xincheng Hotel.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel opened last year, it is well decorated, the double beds are 1.5 meters wide, very friendly to families with two children. The breakfast is very rich, it is in the forefront of the five-diamond hotels, and the service attitude is very good. There are also some small episodes. On the first night, I found that the door could not be locked. The maintenance staff came and knocked for half an hour and finally fixed it, but the chain was still broken. On the second night, the shower water was not hot. I called to ask if it was the same in all hotels. The front desk said to confirm it, but there was no feedback later, so I took a shower. In addition, there are two small regrets in the facilities. The standard safe and small refrigerator of the five-diamond hotel are missing. Overall, I am quite satisfied, and I hope it will be better next time I go.

AAnonymous UserAn excellent hotel, I had a very comfortable stay. The bathroom design is quite reasonable and convenient to use, the bedding is comfortable, and the desk in the room is great for working. The chair is very comfortable to sit in. The customer service was also exceptionally thoughtful; they noticed a milk bottle in the room, realized I had a habit of drinking warm milk before bed, and the next day proactively asked and brought me warm milk. Great value for money! Excellent service! Comfortable room! Highly recommended! I also want to give a special thanks to a hotel staff member who was incredibly efficient! I added them on WeChat but didn't catch their name; their WeChat name is -JUAN児-WU🍬. I really appreciate your work ethic!

GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel boasts impressive amenities. The lobby features a soaring three-story ceiling with a massive, beautiful crystal chandelier. My king-sized room was incredibly spacious and impeccably clean. The mattress was so soft that I enjoyed a dreamless, perfectly sweet night's sleep.
Cleanliness: Both the hotel pool and restaurant were quite clean and maintained regularly. Even the public restrooms on the first floor were spotlessly clean and smelled fresh. Overall, my time at the hotel was very pleasant.
Service: The only slight downside was the lack of staff at the entrance to open car doors or assist with luggage. I had to carry all my bags inside myself, and juggling my belongings before checking in made the initial experience a bit less smooth. However, aside from this, the other service staff, including the front desk, restaurant servers, and housekeeping, were all excellent and very accommodating.
Environment: I stayed on the 21st floor, and the view was quite impressive, offering a bird's-eye perspective of the surrounding area. The value for money is also good compared to similar hotels, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

GGuest UserFirst impression of the hotel was good. We stayed at 25th floor, So that the room is bigger than others.
The reason we choose this hotel because It has a swimming pool. So, after checking in, I went to check the pool. I was shocked to see so many people there. It turned out there was a swimming lesson with 6 instructors and twenty something students. The lesson is running from 9am to 8.30pm. ( pool is closed at 9.30 and only 4 line.) I was very disappointed, therefore I called the duty manager and told him the issue. Soon after, the front seat manager Mr Li came to my room with apologetic attitude. Even though he couldn't resolved the issue, we felt that it was out of his hand. Food at fifth floor was so so. Breakfast has a lot of room to improve. If you want to relax in the pool. Don't go there. Otherwise it is a good choice to have a peaceful sleep.

GGuest UserService: First of all, the hotel's service is very good. From the moment you enter the hotel, you will be guided and served. It is friendly but not exaggeratedly enthusiastic. Thumbs up👍
Facilities: 1. The facilities in the room are a bit old, but this is also a common feature of some old hotels. It is understandable, but the facilities are complete. 2. In addition, the climate here is a bit dry, and the humidifier in the room is really thoughtful. 3. The parking lot is large and free, and there are multiple charging piles, which is very convenient.
Environment: The hotel decoration has the characteristics of Inner Mongolia, and it is atmospheric! I didn't expect that you can catch dolls in the hotel. Hahaha, I like it so much. The surrounding roads are very spacious and there is no traffic jam. It takes only ten minutes to drive to the mall. It is the first choice for self-driving travel.
EElena KldGreat location by the Yellow River with views over amazing desert across and mountains on the other side. Spacious rooms with soft beds and a feeling of resort. Good breakfast and buffet dinners with large choice. What was missing is a spa and perhaps a swimming pool, although the expanses of water outside make it all up. Excellent and attentive service. I received a full support from staff, with Mi Jia being particularly helpful , giving me close support during my two-day stay, with finding local attractions as well as transportation (I particularly value it since I do not speak Chinese so we had to rely on apps). Overall I had a relaxing and smooth time in the hotel.
