GGuest UserOur trip was super convenient, staying at the Jinhua Suite Hotel. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to all the attractions included in our room package. During our stay, the hotel provided many complimentary benefits, including access to the hot spring water park, which made it very convenient to enjoy. Before our arrival, a concierge named '7-Up' (Qixi) added us on WeChat and provided excellent service. They gave us various travel suggestions beforehand and responded promptly to all our questions during our stay. The hotel exit on the first floor leads directly to a shopping street, which is very handy with many restaurants, making dining and entertainment incredibly convenient.
GGuest UserExcellent! Blue Horizon has been around since I was a kid, and even after all these years, it still maintains its 5-star standard. It feels like staying in a Nordic forest. The restaurant offers wild mountain vegetables with dipping sauce – the kind only true Changbai Mountain locals would recognize. You absolutely must try it! However, I'd suggest they make the portion sizes smaller; there's too much, and it'd be a shame to waste those delicious wild vegetables. The complimentary activities and attractions are also fantastic and definitely worth visiting!
GGuest UserI requested a room change, and Bolin at the front desk was incredibly helpful. I was in a hurry to leave, so she even helped move my luggage to the new room, which I really appreciate! The scenery is beautiful, and the environment is lovely with butterflies (see photo P3). The breakfast was absolutely delicious – it felt like a little Nordic experience in China! 👍
下下雨了布布The hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.
GGuest UserThis hotel provided a truly excellent experience. I was originally torn between staying here or at the Wanda Resort, but choosing this place was definitely the right decision. We drove over to Wanda Resort for a meal, but it felt pretty ordinary. The check-in experience and service here were fantastic, even better than the reviews online suggested. I've already recommended it to friends planning to visit. A special shout-out to my butler, whose service was incredibly attentive and who promptly resolved any issues. Highly recommended!

NNuoyimaketewangmiFive-star rating! We stayed at Shangri-La Changchun with our whole family, including seniors and children. The service throughout our stay was exceptionally warm and attentive. I must specifically commend several staff members!
1. The poolside staff were incredibly thoughtful. In the early morning, there was already a dedicated attendant on duty. When my elderly family members were swimming, a staff member proactively offered dry towels. They were gentle and friendly, showing great care for the seniors, which was a heartwarming detail.
2. The experience with two front desk staff members was excellent: one was Tang Yue, and the other was Feng Yanyu. Both ladies were enthusiastic and patient throughout, meticulously guiding us on nearby attractions, taxi routes, and tips for visiting the morning market. I especially thank Ms. Feng Yanyu, who proactively added me on WeChat, telling me I could contact her anytime for any assistance. Her thoughtful and thorough service made us feel exceptionally secure while traveling away from home. Special thanks to her!
3. The concierge staff at the hotel entrance were professional and enthusiastic. They proactively helped us with our luggage upon arrival and hailed taxis and opened doors for us when we went out. Their service was perfectly measured, showcasing the professional standard of a five-star hotel.
The hotel's location is superb, right next to a commercial area, making it very convenient for going out and dining. From the pool to the front desk and the doormen, every employee was gentle and courteous, with attention to detail evident everywhere. It's perfectly suited for stays with seniors and children. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Changchun. Highly recommended!
DDoudoudelvxingxianThe room facilities here are much better than at the Hyatt, even though both hotels are from the same period. The facilities here must have been updated and are of higher quality. The TV is also larger, and the overall feel is more refined. Most importantly, the food is delicious 😋! My kids absolutely loved it. For breakfast, you can order à la carte, and the beef congee, beef pancakes, and Swiss yogurt were all very tasty and exquisitely prepared. The environment is quieter here, making it more suitable for those who prefer peace and quiet. In terms of service, there's a shuttle bus available, as the location is a bit out of the way, not in the town center, which contributes to the quiet atmosphere. I made a last-minute change to this hotel, and my booking wasn't updated promptly, but Joy at the front desk patiently helped us confirm everything. I really appreciate the thoughtful service. In summary, while the location isn't ideal, the environment and facilities are better, the service is excellent, and the food is the best.
GGuest UserThe hotel environment is lovely, and they even have small animals that kids can feed up close. The hot springs are fantastic, and they claim to be the only true volcanic geothermal springs around. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor options, and the fish spa was a really nice experience. If you stay for three consecutive nights, you get some extra perks, and there are shuttle buses available for everything. If you plan your time well, you can finish your activities and head back easily. The hotel is super close to the Old Mountain Gate entrance of the Changbai Mountain Scenic Area, just a 300-meter walk. After visiting the attractions, the hotel's shuttle bus picks you up, which is very convenient. Our butler was incredibly helpful and responsible, always ready to solve any issues and even brought us a big fruit platter. We were very satisfied.
OOnelittleyuThe butler contacted me in advance, and the executive lounge receptionist's name was Tutu. I mentioned bringing a child, and they proactively offered to note a request for a bed-joining setup. Even with high occupancy, they managed to arrange a one-hour late check-out on the last day, which was very reliable.
The room was on the seventh floor with high ceilings and was spacious enough, providing a very comfortable sense of space. The hallway could get a little noisy, especially with children's voices in the summer, but it didn't affect our sleep at night.
We had the dinner buffet included in our package. Remember to get the grilled skewers from the outdoor area – there's no limit! The lamb skewers and gizzards were delicious, but the cakes were the absolute best! Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed it.
The shower was in the bathtub, but there was a non-slip mat and disposable bathtub liners provided. The shower curtain was also clean and had no musty smell. All three of us found it accommodating. The toiletries and hairdryer were branded, which we really liked.
The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for getting anywhere, with the commercial street just a few minutes' walk away. Right outside the restaurant is a large grassy area, perfect for a pleasant evening stroll after dinner. Both the concierge and front desk staff were very enthusiastic with their service. It was a great choice for this trip.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, directly across the river from the famous Floating Market and adjacent to People's Park. The lobby is grand, and you need to swipe your room card to access the guest floors. The breakfast restaurant on the 24th floor offers a wide variety of options, with fresh sushi and omelets made to order. They even have original and red date/longan flavored soy milk. Enjoying breakfast while admiring the cityscape of Yanji feels fantastic! 👍
The hotel owner is Korean, so there are many Korean tour groups – about six large groups during my stay. The room amenities are well thought out: the curtains automatically close when you leave and the power turns off, which helps maintain the room temperature. The toilet only flushes *after* you stand up. Why do I specifically mention this? Because on my road trips along the 331 highway in Northeast China last year and this year, some hotels had toilets that flushed when you sat down and again when you stood up, which felt unhygienic and wasteful. This hotel's equipment is properly adjusted from the start. The faucets are also extended; if you've done renovations, you'd know these extended spouts are specially chosen. The benefit is that when washing hands or clothes, the spout is centered in the sink, so you don't have to bend over awkwardly. The mattress is also comfortable; I didn't check the brand, but a mattress that feels this good would cost around 10,000 RMB for home use. The tatami mat is particularly noteworthy – perfectly fine for one person to sleep on. The entire room is simply and comfortably decorated. My two-day stay was pleasant and relaxing. When I checked out, the hotel manager even gave me a small gift.
If the hotel wants to improve further, I think the quality of your bath products could be upgraded. The black packaging looks a bit low-end, and I preferred to use my own products because yours weren't appealing.
Exiting the hotel, turn left and walk uphill for about 5 minutes, and you'll reach the North Gate of People's Park. The hotel's first-floor restaurant, Ban Dao Xue Niu (Peninsula Snow Beef), is worth trying, and you get a 10% discount with your room card.
