As a local couple from Shenyang who have experienced various hotels, Conrad is the only one we keep coming back to. It truly sets the benchmark for hotels in Northeast China! đ The dining, service, gym, pool, and views are all top-notch in Shenyang. We chose Conrad again for our anniversary.
The executive lounge benefits for two included delicious afternoon tea pastries, drinks, and cookies. Dinner was quite substantial, featuring curry lamb, seasonal vegetables, and freshly made noodles, along with several cocktails â definitely worth a staycation.
This was our first time bringing our child, and we discovered Conrad's solid wood kids' play area, which is really well-made and quite rare. I'm not a fan of ball pits; they don't seem very hygienic or safe. Our baby had a great time here, and it was relaxing for us parents too. The space is large and safe, truly worth bringing kids to. This setup allows one parent to take care of the child while the other enjoys swimming or working out, which is a lifesaver!
Conrad's swimming pool is a must-visit for me. The 28.5â constant temperature pool has an amazing environment and view. The gym is professional, clean, and very high-end, with an open layout rather than being cramped. You can work out every body part, and they've even added new equipment â fantastic! đ
The executive rooms feature a round bathtub by the window, offering incredible views from the 80+ floor. You can even bring your favorite bubble bath.
The breakfast beef noodles are excellent! đ The roujiamo and sauerkraut pies are quite unique. The lunch roasted duck is great! đ And they offer salmon.
Finally, a huge thank you to Steven, Sarah, and Vera for their warm and thoughtful service. They were incredibly responsive to all our requests. The service at Conrad Shenyang is truly its soul! đ I recommend it to everyone visiting Shenyang.

Jackie was very attentive and responsible. The room arranged for us was perfect â non-smoking and facing the sun. It was excellent. The room had a desk, which was very convenient for the kids to read. I'm especially grateful for the help with printing the kids' test papers; the service was truly superb. The robot delivery for our late-night takeout was super convenient. There's a piano in the lobby, and I never expected my child could practice piano even while traveling. It exceeded my expectations and was totally worth it!

This is my second stay at Shangri-La, and it was just as delightful as the first! They contacted me a day in advance to discuss check-in, and even prepared a special pillow and toiletries for my child. My license plate was also pre-registered. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept soundly. Selina from Guest Relations provided warm and attentive service, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite MixC City, accessible via an underground pass, and parking is convenient. Breakfast was plentiful, and the Horizon Club offered exquisite Ă la carte dishes. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shenyang!

We had a wonderful stay at the Yingkou Wanda Yihua Hotel. The check-in was fast and smooth, and our Executive Deluxe Sea-View Room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable with a fantastic bed. The highlight was the large private balcony offering breathtaking views over the beach, the sea, and the harbor.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh Chinese dishes along with some Western options, and everything was well organized even during the busy Golden Week. We can also highly recommend the dinner buffet with its excellent selection of fresh seafood, grilled lamb, and steaks.
The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. A special thanks goes to Mia Wang, who supported us so kindly and made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly felt very welcome and comfortable here and would definitely recommend this hotel.

As soon as I entered the hotel, the handsome concierge helped me carry my luggage, showed me the way enthusiastically, and told me where to eat and where to have fun. It felt like an old friend who hadn't seen me for many years. The check-in at the front desk was also very smooth, and they helped me arrange a quiet non-smoking room. It was very considerate and the service exceeded my expectations.
The room was clean and tidy, spacious and bright, the bed was very comfortable, and the big bathtub was perfect. It was so comfortable to take a hot bath at night. I fell asleep quickly. It snowed in Fushun, and the snow scene was so beautiful.
The facilities in the hotel are also very complete, with a gym and a swimming pool. I went swimming a few laps when I had nothing to do, and it felt very refreshing. The location is also good. There are shopping malls and snack streets outside, and it is convenient to go anywhere.
Speaking of food, the breakfast is so rich that it makes people dazzled. There are all kinds of Chinese and Western food, especially the bread and desserts are great.
The experience is very good, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely high. It is worth the money and recommended.

I have to rave about the Grand Hyatt Dalian! The breakfast was so good I didn't want to leave â so many varieties and everything tasted amazing, I just devoured it all. The location is absolutely stunning, right by the sea. During the day, you get incredible views of Xinghai Square and the cross-sea bridge, just beautiful. At night, when everything lights up, it transforms into this whole other romantic vibe â I could stare at it forever. Comfortable stay, delicious food, and a perfect view, highly, highly recommend!
Ladies, bring all your gear because this place is super photogenic, whether you're going for a romantic couple's vibe or something more sensual, you can get it all here. The bed faces the bathroom mirror, which is fantastic. The windows are huge, and you're right across from the cross-sea bridge â whatever atmosphere you're looking for, you'll find it.

⢠Thereâs also a night market just across the street, which was very convenient.
What I didnât like:
⢠I had some difficulty figuring out how to use the bathtub sprinkler.

The Shangri-La Dalian was definitely a highlight of our family trip! We were a bit worried about comfort traveling with kids, but our experience far exceeded expectations. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the city center. We could walk to Qingniwa Bridge and Zhongshan Square, and it wasn't a long taxi ride to Laohutan (Tiger Beach) or the Forest Zoo. Plus, there's a subway station right downstairs, making getting around super easy. The service was very thoughtful; when we checked in, they saw we had a child and immediately provided kids' toiletries and slippers. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent â we slept soundly all two nights. The view of Dalian's city lights from the window was quite beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious; my whole family enjoyed it. The swimming pool water temperature was perfect, and the kids had a great time. At checkout, they even gave our child a small dolphin plushie as a souvenir. All in all, both the facilities and the service lived up to five-star standards. We'll definitely choose Shangri-La again next time we visit Dalian and will recommend it to our friends!

GGuest UserA special thank you to Amber from the concierge team at InterContinental Dalian CoSCO Shipping for her thoughtful service! After checking out, I realized I had left my charger behind. Amber promptly contacted me to explain the situation and patiently answered my questions about the deposit refund. She was meticulous and responsible throughout the entire process, and today she has already arranged for timely postage. Her service is both professional and personable, which truly put me at ease. Thumbs up for InterContinental's high-quality service!

LLangrenxilin1. The room was above the bathhouse, but check-in was in the villa area, about a hundred meters away. So I had to walk there to check in, and then walk back to my room.
2. The next day, breakfast was also in the villa area, which was about a ten-minute walk, roughly five or six hundred meters. Another round trip.
3. One room included two hot spring tickets, but check-out was required by 10 AM. You can imagine if you'd even have time to use them.
4. The hot spring ticket was basically an amusement park entry ticket; it just gives you access to the venue. A bottle of mineral water inside costs 8 yuan, and everything else costs extra. It was just inconvenient in every way and completely different from what I imagine a Northeastern Chinese bathhouse to be like. I've been to several other bathhouses, so I'm not new to this.
5. Our group of 5 families and 18 people all felt that the promotion didn't match reality, and the disappointment was significant. It wasn't worth it. Of course, if you treat this place like a water park or amusement park, it might be better.

AAnonymous UserMy trip to Dalian was centered around Hard Rock, and more specifically, acquiring pins from the Rock Shop.
During check-in, the receptionist was incredibly enthusiastic. Her service had a certain straightforward, welcoming 'Northern style' that was quite refreshing. The room had a small balcony, but I barely noticed it; I dropped my bags and made a beeline for the Rock Shop, as that was the main event.
It was just past peak season, so it wasn't crowded. I went straight to the pin display case. When I was taking photos, the staff member thoughtfully opened the case for me, allowing me a clearer view of all the current season's pins. This small gesture instantly revealed he was a fellow collector, truly understanding the mindset of an enthusiast.
Upon learning I was particularly fond of the Core Icon series, the staff member immediately brought out some 'store reserves' from the back, which included the Dalian Core Icon and an opening day pin. These were technically not for sale, but noticing there were two Core Icons, I cheekily pleaded with him to let me have one. After navigating several internal approvals, my new friend went out of his way to make an exception for me, and I finally got my wish!
The Hard Rock pin collecting community is incredibly small, and we even discovered we had mutual friends when we chatted! So when he said, 'ćäşşäšçž' â essentially, 'it's a pleasure to help someone achieve their desire' â it perfectly captured the mutual respect and camaraderie that runs through our small community of collectors. My heartfelt thanks!
If you're a fellow pin enthusiast, you absolutely must come and check it out, and have a chat with the store manager in person. That's where true passion and dedication truly shine.
Oh, and remember the manager's name â Rock Shop Michael Jackson!

MMartinLovesAsiaThe location is great and the price was reasonable for a 5 star hotel. However, there were some things that seemed lacking of a 5 star hotel.
The CONS - Rooms come with heavy smoke smell and ashtray even if asking for non smoking, and it was open smoking in the lobby and even elevators. I would have loved a bathtub instead of only a shower. The breakfast was very good for the price (48 rmb) but didn't include juices and their attempt at adding bacon was horrific as it was a fake street sausage type of bacon that's bright red and inedible. There was brand-name water bottles and then there was the hotel water bottles in the room and there was a menu charging 2 rmb to heat up water. I am not sure how they would know or if this is to charge for the people who steal the tea and coffee. But I would expect to boil water for free. Also the gym closed at 19:00 and it seemed a bit early.
The PROS - The beds were comfortable. The staff did their best to accommodate and even allowed picking up luggage later. The coffee shop inside had great coffee if you dont mind the smoke. The breakfast was a great value for 48 rmb. The location was great and convenient. The hotel was able to check us in to the room early with availability. The hot spring SPA was amazing as well since there was no pool but you need to be careful not to let them give you extra services (which are sub par) and just enjoy the hot water and sauna for free when you buy something.

GGuest UserI had a very satisfying stay. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to various places. There's a direct passage on the fourth floor to the mall, which is entirely dedicated to restaurants and an IMAX cinema. On the first basement floor, there's a supermarket and a florist. I bought live seafood from the supermarket and had the vendor steam it for me to take back to my room â the flower crabs and conches were absolutely amazing. Parking is available right outside, free of charge. The room facilities are great; the shower head and water temperature were perfect, and I used the washer and dryer multiple times. The hairdryer is also high-speed. Overall, everything was ideal.

KKoshkina AnastasiiaThe hotel isn't new, but it's well-maintained, and the landscaping is beyond reproach! We took the metro to the final station, then a Didi/Alipay taxi. It was 14:00 there and 18:00 back. We booked a very basic room with one large bed, which looked like it was 2 by 2 meters. We stayed in November. The whole hotel was warm. There's a separate area with large indoor pools and slides for children aged 3 or older. The onsen itself is divided into three equal parts: one common area and two specifically for men and women, where swimsuits are not allowed. The common area has two outdoor onsen and a large heated pool. The women's area has a more fun outdoor landscape and baths than the common area. There were always crowds of people there. Sometimes it was children screaming and splashing around. Sometimes it was just peace and quiet. It closes at 9:00 PM, so we were practically alone in the evening. It's a perfect place for autumn! The air is cool, and sitting in the bath by the moonlight is pure bliss!!! There are also separate foot baths outside. They also have a really great atmosphere. We looked at the menu; the dishes were complex, with lots of sauces and seafood. The prices were high, but we didn't feel like eating them. The breakfast was beautifully presented, but rather basic, nothing special. We had the same at the Ibis. Overall, we were very pleased! You could stay for 2-3 days and really chill out, if only the food was more basic or we could get the hang of delivery. We paid 12,400 rubles per night; we were with a 10-year-old child, but he's not very expensive, so there were no extra charges. Overall, it was a great experience for the cold season! We recommend it.
