My stay at Grand Hyatt Chengdu was truly beyond expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location, right in the heart of Chunxi Road, adjacent to Taikoo Li and IFS. This makes shopping, dining, and visiting attractions like Kuanzhai Alley incredibly convenient – no need to stress about planning your travel. Designed by the master Yabu Pushelberg, the hotel perfectly blends Bashu culture with French elegance. The natural wood style, combined with mirrored surfaces, ink-wash monkey paintings, and bamboo weaving decorations, exudes a low-key yet sophisticated quality. Stepping into the lobby instantly isolates you from the city's hustle and bustle, creating an immersive atmosphere. The guest rooms are clean and tidy with a well-thought-out layout. The bedding is soft and comfortable against the skin, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The wet/dry separated bathroom features a Dyson hairdryer and high-end toiletries, with a sunken bathtub that's perfect for relaxing after a long journey. Daily fresh fruit plates and handwritten thoughtful cards show attention to detail. Lying in bed, you can overlook the city's night view, with the IFS panda sculpture's evening panorama fully visible, adding to the wonderful ambiance. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options. The hotel is well-equipped with amenities like a heated infinity pool with a star-studded ceiling and a Technogym-equipped fitness center. A special mention goes to the professional and enthusiastic staff at the Grand Club Lounge; check-in was swift, and they provided detailed information. Overall, the experience was perfect. It's an ideal choice for both business trips and leisure vacations. I will definitely choose Grand Hyatt Chengdu again on my next visit!

This hotel is clean, spacious, and well-lit, with very convenient facilities. Rooms come with Baishishan mineral water, instant hot water, and a mini-fridge. The service is simply outstanding – staff are warm, highly efficient, and incredibly accommodating, practically anticipating your needs. The great room rates and free parking are major bonuses. Every single staff member is genuinely friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The overall ambiance is fantastic as well. For the price, this hotel offers absolutely unbeatable value! A special shout-out to the front desk team, particularly Wendy, Rain, and Allan, whose service was exceptional. They upgraded our room, gave us a lovely small gift, thoroughly explained the hotel's amenities, and provided all the details for breakfast, including times and location. We had a truly excellent stay.

Extremely satisfied with my stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu R&F. As always, the service was excellent. I stayed in room 3910 on the Executive Club Level, originally for 2 nights, and then extended for another 2 nights in the same room. From Stephen's warm welcome at the front desk during check-in, to the meals at the Executive Lounge on the 38th floor, and even the late-night room service order I placed myself – I was truly impressed with Ritz's 24-hour in-room dining. The abalone braised pork was exquisite, the M3 Angus steak was incredibly fragrant, and I absolutely loved the fish maw and lobster wonton. The chef's culinary skills are truly exceptional! The Executive Club Level breakfast doesn't close until 11 AM, which was perfect for me while on vacation. Marriott's management is excellent. I frequently stay at IHG InterContinental Executive Lounges, but for this free-and-easy trip to Western Sichuan, I opted for all Ritz-Carlton hotels: The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu R&F, and The Ritz-Carlton, Jiuzhaigou. Loved them!

A perfect 5-star review! Shangri-La hotels are always my family's first choice, and they consistently deliver. This was my first stay at the Chengdu location, and it truly exceeded my expectations, especially the afternoon tea and evening happy hour at the Horizon Club – the food was fantastic! I highly recommend it, as long as your budget allows.

My stay at the JW Marriott Chengdu was absolutely perfect, and I have to give a special shout-out to Guest Relations Officer Michelle and Manager Andy! Michelle was incredibly attentive and professional throughout. She proactively reached out to understand my needs before check-in, and upon arrival, she swiftly handled the process and provided a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and local attractions. During my stay, she was always there to help, whether it was a small request like luggage storage or room amenities, or a bigger one like travel recommendations. Everything was handled efficiently and thoughtfully, and her warm smile made me feel incredibly welcome. Manager Andy is also a testament to excellent management and service. He proactively checked in on my experience and was quick to respond and resolve any issues, demonstrating true professionalism and responsibility. The team he leads is enthusiastic and responsive, from the concierge to housekeeping, truly embodying JW Marriott's high service standards. The hotel's location in the heart of Chunxi Road is super convenient for getting around; the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed; and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. I sincerely recommend this hotel to everyone!

The location of the hotel is perfect, only 10 minutes away walking distance (with an infant) from Terminal 1, making it super convenient for us. We loved the renovation of the hotel and the beautiful view from the open garden. Our room is very spacious, making it a wonderful place for my baby to walk and crawl around to burn some energy before our flight. I really liked the mini toiletries provided the hotel - the smell reminds me of lavender farm I visited in Australia. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on too! Unfortunately we couldn’t sleep overnight due to our departure time! I paid extra for buffet dinner. Not cheap but worth the money. You can find a big range of food options. I would have loved it if I was a big seafood fan as the seafood session was impressive! However I did enjoy the other food, including sushi, Chinese dishes and the icecream! Overall my baby and I had a great time staying in the hotel, and we would happily recommend it to our family and friends!

This hotel is my go-to whenever I'm in Chengdu, whether for leisure or business. The entire hotel has a very elegant design, and there's a subtle, pleasant scent in the air. The staff are all incredibly refined and polite. The room facilities are noticeably newer than those at the Shangri-La across the street, yet it comes at a much more appealing price point than the Shangri-La. Its location is right next to Chengdu's core Taikoo Li district, but it's set back enough from the hustle and bustle. Downstairs, transportation links are excellent, and you never have to worry about traffic jams. Even better, behind the hotel are the winding, intricate alleys of Jiaochangba, which hide countless delicious small eateries and street food stalls. They're well worth exploring, whether for lunch or dinner. I'll definitely be staying here again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Parking was convenient, and the facilities were excellent, including a swimming pool, tea room, gym, and kids' play area. The decor was also very tasteful and atmospheric. Plus, the breakfast was abundant!

Here's my review: **Location:** Since I visited during the off-season, the hotel kindly upgraded my room for free. First off, the hotel is incredibly close to Jiuzhaigou – it's only a 5-minute walk to the entrance of the scenic area in the morning. However, because it's so close to Jiuzhaigou, there aren't many dining options nearby. It's a bit of a walk to the town, so having a car would be more convenient. **Facilities:** The room itself was very new and equipped with smart home features. The TV was connected to the internet, which made casting and watching movies much easier. The room also had both floor heating and air conditioning, making it very comfortable. The bed and pillows were on the softer side; they felt quite sunken when I lay in the middle, so if you prefer a firm bed, this might not be for you. On a thoughtful note, the room came with complimentary snacks and drinks. It was also incredibly quiet at night. With the curtains drawn, it was pitch black – you couldn't see anything, making it very peaceful. **Breakfast & Amenities:** The hotel offers breakfast for 30 RMB per person. It's a standard breakfast, with yogurt, fruit, bread, noodles, and other common breakfast items. The hotel also has a gym and a public bath, though the gym doesn't have many facilities. **Service:** The service was excellent. The hotel staff were very patient and had a great attitude. I'd especially like to commend the housekeeping service – they were very thorough in restocking items and amenities, and they even tidied up my bedside table without disturbing any of my personal belongings. **Suggestions:** The floor heating isn't throughout the entire room. While they provided two pairs of disposable slippers, the area near the bathroom entrance had no floor heating. After a shower, wearing slippers meant they'd get wet and feel uncomfortable, but going barefoot was too cold. I suggest providing two pairs of slippers in the bathroom – one for wearing in the private hot spring (if applicable) and one for general use, which would make soaking more convenient. Also, with all the smart home features, there were quite a few remote controls. The floor heating made the bed very hot, which became increasingly uncomfortable as I slept. It would be helpful if guests were reminded about this, and perhaps the various remote controls could be labeled, as it was sometimes hard to tell which controlled what.

First off, I have to commend how my booking was handled – they clearly read my notes, and the room arrangement was perfect! I was a bit worried when I booked, seeing some reviews about the hotel being older, fearing it might be dated. But honestly, as soon as I saw the room, all those concerns vanished. The hotel is incredibly well-maintained, even better than the photos. As they say, an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari! My overall stay was fantastic. The room was spacious, the bedding was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. The toiletries were top-notch, smelled lovely, and worked wonderfully. Every little detail showed care. The high floor offered fantastic panoramic views through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and everything was spotless. The location is excellent – quiet yet central. The butler service was outstanding, available 24/7, with quick and friendly responses. The 24-hour complimentary drinks and snacks were a thoughtful touch and of good quality. The housekeeping staff noticed we were drinking tea and proactively left extra bottles of water during cleaning, which was very thorough – thumbs up! There are plenty of great dining options nearby. If I had to pick a flaw, it's that the shampoo and other bottles in the shower were a bit too close together, making them hard to press, but that's a minor point. The 6:30 PM sabrage champagne ritual added a nice touch of ceremony. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and for more than just one night!
