Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort. A special thanks to front desk staff member Riri for doing her best to coordinate a suitable room according to my request. Also, the butler and maintenance technician resolved an air conditioning issue in the middle of the night. The professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm of all the staff at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, from top to bottom, brought warmth and moved us during our time in Lhasa. There's no distinction of 'high or low' among people; hotel guests and staff simply have different roles and responsibilities. The key lies in how guests' concerns are addressed and the attitude and problem-solving approach of the staff when issues arise. We had booked a basic room, but because I'm sensitive to noise, Riri helped us upgrade to a quieter room. The air conditioning in our room would turn on automatically after being turned off. Around 1 AM, the maintenance technician came back and forth three times. Eventually, they decided to turn off the AC's circuit breaker and fix it the next day (which they did). Before we left, they even sent a small gift as an apology. Breakfast was decent, but I'd describe it as exquisite in presentation, bland in taste, and lacking variety. However, I've also tried meals at the Shangri-La Lhasa, the Crowne Plaza Linzhi, and the Songtsam Bason Co Linka, where some ingredients are even transported from Sichuan in advance due to special circumstances. The taste is generally similar across the board. Given the challenging environment, I believe they've done their best to achieve this level. Regarding some of the room's hardware, there's definitely room for improvement, and the hotel itself is aware of this. I hope to see improvements in the future. I forgot to take photos of the hotel.

Excellent location, very close to Potala Palace. The hotel staff are warm, attentive, and very thoughtful. The breakfast selection is extensive. Special thanks to butler Jiang Cuo for his consistently high-quality service throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Compared with Bomi Songtsan, Laigu Songtsan is smaller in both size and room size, but the scenery is no less impressive and it is still the site chosen by the gods. The hotel is located in the Laigu Glacier Scenic Area, at an altitude of 4,200 meters. It is embedded in the cliff, facing the glacier, and surrounded by the snow mountain lake. You can overlook the Yalong Glacier from the room! Customer service will give you brand new cloth shoes as soon as you enter the door, and also provide free shoe cleaning services. The hotel is located in the scenic area, and you get free tickets when you check in, and you can drive to the glacier entrance by yourself, which is very convenient. The guest rooms are equipped with diffused oxygen supply, floor heating, and humidifiers, and the bedding is comfortable. Considering the safety of oxygen supply, the room is also designed with a small smoking room, which is full of details.

During my stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Lhasa, I met a true guardian who brightened my trip with his sincerity and professionalism – our butler, Robert Xiang Hongwei. With every proactive greeting and meticulous action, he transformed the phrase “feeling at home” into a heartwarming reality. The best service is when guests forget they are being “served.” With Robert, I witnessed the pinnacle of hotel service: not making guests feel deliberately “cared for,” but rather, through natural kindness, having every need met silently. His every initiative, every “Okay, I’ll arrange it for you right away,” conveyed the same message: Here, you don't have to be a “guest,” just be “yourself.” The Shangri-La Hotel shines because of employees like him, and the industry is warmed by professionals like him. May this subtle light illuminate the journeys of more people, making every arrival a reunion worth looking forward to. I will definitely choose Shangri-La Hotel again for my next stay!

I absolutely love Farly Hotel. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, like spinning prayer wheels and performing sang offerings. I particularly recommend the evening sound bath experience and the morning Pilates. The instructor's stretching exercises really helped improve my posture. I also woke up early to watch the sunrise, but there's a mountain to the east of Farly, so the sun actually appears about 45 minutes after the official sunrise time. Still, it was a beautiful sight.

Undoubtedly the best hotel in Jieba Village. It's a complete package with a restaurant, bar, lifestyle center, and various Tibetan-themed experience halls. The afternoon tea was excellent; the beef jerky and open-faced sandwiches were particularly delicious. The hotel's environment is top-notch, truly living up to Songtsam's reputation with tasteful colors and decor. Watching the sunset from their private pier behind the hotel in the evening was also fantastic. My daughter's beef burger from the Himalaya Restaurant was very authentic, and the breakfast spread was even richer, featuring local tsampa. Songtsam's staff are all incredibly welcoming. Our butler messaged us in advance with all the details and hotel menus. Throughout our stay, they sent thoughtful reminders via messaging. The pick-up, luggage handling, and valet parking services were all flawlessly executed. The smiles of the ******* young men and women were truly infectious. As for the evening drink, the tremella soup was thoughtfully placed in a thermos. I was quite full, but I took a small taste, and it was very good.

The most satisfying hotel of our trip to Tibet, even better than the St. Regis Lhasa! 1. The hotel is very grand and the design is full of ******* style. 2. The location is excellent, very convenient for visiting the Jokhang Temple, and there are plenty of dining options/supermarkets nearby. 3. A special thank you goes to Manager Shiyi, a benchmark for service in the hotel industry! She called beforehand to confirm (though I missed the call), and upon arrival, upgraded our family of three to a family suite (two bedrooms and a living room, ridiculously spacious). She also recommended Xiao Pangzi Sichuan restaurant to us (which was delicious!). After checking in, any questions we had were answered very promptly, and she even allowed us to check out late at 3:30 PM, so my parents could rest well before their 4 PM high-speed train. We are truly grateful! I've never been so well taken care of as a Titanium Elite member at any Marriott property! 4. The hotel robots proactively deliver takeout to the room, a blessing for lazy people. 5. The breakfast was unexpectedly good, comparable to the St. Regis Lhasa.

Afternoon tea (available only in the hotel's designated afternoon tea area) daily: Very good, a variety of fruits and teas. Distributed oxygen supply: The hotel provides oxygen concentrators and oximeters. Breakfast is plentiful, and the bread is especially delicious. We stayed at the hotel for a day to acclimatize to the high altitude. There's a change machine at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient! 👍

Full of flaws, perhaps their prime location justifies the high price. The room wasn't clean; towels used by previous guests were hanging behind the door, and the shower glass was covered in water stains. The oxygen concentrator was dusty, and the sheets were stained. Despite the many flaws, there were two good points: first, the mattress was very comfortable—the most comfortable I'd had on the entire trip, and I fell asleep quickly; second, the rice noodles for breakfast were delicious.

The service was professional and very supportive. We were greeted with a Hada upon entering, which was a lovely touch reflecting the hotel's local character, and the Hada itself was of good quality. The ******* ladies were beautiful, warm, and provided excellent service, while the young men were very helpful. Breakfast was also great; even as vegetarians, we found suitable options. Overall, our stay here was excellent. We are very grateful and wish the hotel continued success in its business.
