Great
YYun1949Helsinki is truly a beautiful city. The hotel itself is exquisitely decorated and luxurious, with an excellent location that makes getting around a breeze. They even offer bicycles for guests to use, which is a nice touch. The service is great, and the breakfast is plentiful. I would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserThe location is the absolute best… right across the tram, few minutes walk to the train station and within walking distance to multiple parts of Helsinki city centre.
The way to the room was an odd one, spooky, but as a Halloween lover I preferred it. My room was on the 5th floor, but to get to it you had to take the lift to the 3rd floor. THEN walk to a different part of the Marski building (it looked like the original perhaps before it expanded) to go to the 5th floor. There was a vintage style lift with the gate you had to close and everything. I quite enjoyed that.
There is a mini fridge, a TV and the bed was comfortable. The AC was brilliant, especially on hot days and the shower was great as well. I accidentally booked on two separate ones and the desk helped me stay in one room with ease, though I understandably had to pay a bit of a fee as my current room was an upgrade from the other.
My critique would be that I wish there was more attention to detail for the room service. It seems they don’t vacuum or replace the sheets/used cups, or properly clean, they only take out the bins. Also my room tag tore apart from previous stays overuse but it was never replaced — the one that says Do Not Disturb. I would absolutely stay here again, however. The Finns are great.
GgidroponixA nice and clean hotel. It's close to Aalto's villa, and the city center is easily accessible by tram. However, arriving from the airport by public transportation (train and bus) was inconvenient, so I recommend taking a taxi. Besides Aalto's villa and studio, the Akseli Gallen-Kallela Museum, Didrichsen, Villa Gullenberg, and the former presidential residence of Tamminiemi are also nearby. The sauna was good, and it wasn't crowded when I visited. The staff was helpful with any questions I had.🥰
MMatchy WuHilton Helsinki Airport is conveniently located just 5-6 minutes walk from the airport. The room is big and the hotel has everything such as restaurant, convenience kiosk, gym, sauna we needed. Hotel staff is very friendly and proactive in offering assistance. The hotel is well maintained and very clean.
GGuest UserThe Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, and they left a bottle of water in the room that was only free for members, which felt a bit cheap. The location is just okay, even though there's a tram station nearby.
GGuest UserBeautiful deco, and ambience was just as I imagined. Our room was perfect - amazing bed, light and space and it was crowned by our own sauna! Food was excellent, we had a dinner and breakfast - the offering was interesting, fresh and filled with real Finnish delicacies.
I have to give special credit to their service - every single person were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and felt like they really loved their job.
Highly recommend!
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the heart of city center. Lots of shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity which makes things very easy. Very close to train stations and many tram lines nearby. Staff and service are great. Breakfast is great. The hotel has a lot of tradition and is maintained very well. The gym is quite good too. Rooms are not very big but spacious enough. Bathroom is very nicely designed and comfortable.
BBianmoshengrenThe room was clean and tastefully decorated, with an overall elegant and sophisticated ambiance. The semi-buffet breakfast was of good quality. The service was excellent, attentive and meticulous. However, the tablet in my room that controlled the TV and other devices seemed to be broken, but I didn't need to watch TV, so it didn't bother me. Overall, it's one of the best and most recommended hotels in Helsinki.
JJacqueline J ParkClean, Cozy and close to the central station and everything. Very good for the money when you think about how expensive everything is in Northern Europe.
All the staffs I met were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was also amazing.
Try their oldest elevator located in the centre of the building.
WWowoxiaoshouThe room is very big, even with an extra bed, it is more than enough; the sanitation is also very clean and tidy, the hotel is very attentive to send welcome gifts and cards; it is very close to the train station and major attractions and business districts; the only thing I am not satisfied with is the breakfast, there are too few varieties, the taste is also very ordinary, it does not match the room quality at all
