All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas.
The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.
Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.
Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.
Hence the reason for a lower review score.
Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.
This Aria in Budapest has been in my mind for many years. It is in a very good location in the city center. You can reach many attractions on foot. The hotel has its own style, elegant environment and good service. It is worth staying.
The room is incredibly spacious, even larger than suites in many high-end or luxury hotels. The service is excellent, and the breakfast pastries are top-notch. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, highly recommended! 👍
The facilities are top-notch, and the service is excellent 👍. The hotel's location right by Fisherman's Bastion offers beautiful views; you can see both banks of the Danube River and the Parliament building directly from your room. The executive concierge service on the third floor provides complimentary fruits, drinks, and food all day long. I'll definitely stay here again next time. We stayed for three nights this time.
We chose this accommodation for a family trip, as it was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cleanliness and friendly staff were top-notch. However, in cold weather, traveling by train or public transportation from the airport can be a bit inconvenient.
If you prefer the quiet of the Buda area, this is a great choice.
Great location, very close to where you can take Danube river cruises, and there's a Christmas market nearby, which creates a festive atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the room is spacious. The only downside is that the price was a bit high when booked for New Year's Eve.
The hotel was impeccable. The option of having a choice of pillows was a wonderful touch. The heated pool and sauna provided a nice break and rest during the holiday.
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and professional, from the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance, through check-in, and all the way to check-out and luggage handling. Every service was polite and attentive. The hotel breakfast was quite rich, with à la carte options, and the fruit was delicious. The room size was quite large for European standards, and housekeeping was prompt and thorough. The only minor drawback was that the shower facilities in the room were a bit old-fashioned and the drainage wasn't great.
Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The location is absolutely incredible !!! Just step outside, and you’re already in the heart of the city, surrounded by its most iconic landmarks. The service exceeded all expectations! We were warmly welcomed and even offered early check-in, which was a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options, and the coffee was really good . Every detail made us feel genuinely cared for- we would return without hesitation!
The Marriott's location is absolutely fantastic, but the room size was surprisingly small, and the bathroom made me feel like I'd stepped into a 3-star motel! Perhaps because of the location, our river view room offered beautiful views of the Danube and Chain Bridge, both day and night. Plus, Pier 7 is right downstairs, making boat trips super convenient. However, on weekend nights, the downstairs dance bar doesn't quiet down until 11 or 12, and you can still hear the noise even with the windows closed. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider that, but the view truly is excellent. The hotel's front desk staff were very helpful and even booked a taxi for us to the airport. Overall, the service was great!

Great
GGuest UserW Budapest has great location, but the management is a failure. A wedding occupied the lobby and restaurant during our stay, with partying and loud music blasting until 3 AM. Despite multiple calls from room requesting to turn the volume down, the noise continued unabated.
We were never notified of this event during check-in, and at midnight, we were even blocked from the lobby using the lifts to reach our rooms and we had to take stairs instead. To make matters worse, despite booking three rooms, the hotel only offered an apology and compensation to the one room with Titanium status, ignoring the rest of us. For a luxury brand, the lack of communication and blatant disregard for guest comfort is shocking.

YYuanmanxiaojieWhenever a friend visits Budapest, I always book them into this hotel. The rooms are spacious, the location is excellent, and the price is right. It offers great value for money.

FfengyiqiThe hotel is located in the city center. There are shops around. You can walk to the attractions. After all, Budapest has many attractions.
Service: Overall, I am very satisfied. Every staff member will ask if you need help and take the initiative to help with the luggage. The plane arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 in the morning. I waited for more than 10 minutes before the room was given to me.
You must also choose breakfast. There are not many types of breakfast, but they are very delicate. Every dish is very good. There are single dishes and buffets. Breakfast is in the hotel’s own Michelin restaurant on the first floor.
Talk about the shortcomings: I booked a Matilda Suite, but I was given the most basic king-size bed room? ? ? I didn’t react until the third day of my stay, so I didn’t negotiate with the hotel.
The hotel is not large, but the facilities are very new.
The sanitation is still quite satisfactory. Some places that are not easy to see need to be cleaned! Overall, it is still recommended!

Amazing
LLudmila and Winston from AustraliaOutstanding Gold Standard Hotel.
We stayed five nights in the hotel, and from the time we arrived, we enjoyed the most outstanding professional and welcoming hospitality of the hotel staff. To our suprise, most of the staff communicated well in English and were always welcoming, professional, and friendly. The superior studio provided a spectacular view of the Danube River and the majestic Chain Bridge. The view of the city was absolutely magnificent, especially at night time. Everything in the room was of high standard, and having stayed at many hotels around the world, we could say without hesitation that the soundproofing in the room was Gold Standard. For the first time, we were not disturbed by any external noise from the hotel or from traffic noise from outside the hoìtel. This made our stay enjoyable and memorable. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone in the hotel for making our stay in Budapest spectacular!

GGuest UserThe idea of staying in a castle monastery is appealing, especially if you prefer a quieter side of Budapest. The room was pleasant, but not overly luxurious. The breakfast was simple, and the music was too loud when I woke up.
The location wasn’t convenient for me, and the monastery experience didn’t live up to my expectations. I stayed on the other side of Pest and had a much better time.
