5-Star Hotels in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan

The hotel and room were very clean and tidy. The food was delicious, and it was great to have both breakfast and dinner right there at the hotel. The hot springs were fantastic too, and after a soak, there was complimentary ice cream and yogurt. The hotel even provided complimentary late-night ramen for guests. The value for money here is truly exceptional!

Very nice hotel with wonderful outdoor onzen bath, great service and excellent food. Two downsides though: Our bedroom was facing a brick wall which is not what you would expect when booking a hotel in this location, and at that price level. I wish we had been notified beforehand. Also, the service in the restaurant was very rushed. The hotel was very busy due to the ***** new year and I guess they were trying to get clients quickly through dinners to rotate services quickly but given the quality of the food, it was unfortunate that we could not spend more time enjoying it. But other than that, the hotel was great and I highly recommend it.

The hotel environment is clean and beautiful, and the service is very attentive. The breakfast buffet is abundant. We chose a Japanese-style (tatami) room, which was spacious and tidy. There's a large public onsen on the top floor, and private onsen baths are also available for reservation (3500 JPY per session). The swimming pool wasn't open, so we missed out on that. The location is very convenient, right next to Shirahama Beach. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is located on a hill, so walking up the steep slope back to the hotel every day was a bit of a challenge for our cardio and stamina, but we just considered it a workout, which was fine. If we come to Shirahama again, we'll definitely choose this place.

The rooms are spacious, but the hotel is quite old, so the facilities are outdated. However, because there are indoor and outdoor hot springs, many locals stay there on weekends, and the lobby bar offers complimentary snacks and drinks, making it good value overall. However, the hotel's location is remote, and there aren't many restaurants nearby, making it very inconvenient if you're not traveling by car.

Summary: 1. Airport transfer to Shirahama needs to be booked in advance via email. 2. The hotel is excellent and newly renovated. The hot springs are fantastic. 3. Transportation is inconvenient, but there's a shuttle service to Shirarahama Beach. 4. It's about a 15-20 minute walk downhill to a convenience store. The distance isn't actually that far.

The villa is clean and hygienic. The most important thing is that there is a private sauna room. There is a large swimming pool with two large bathtubs. There is a large kitchen for cooking. 👍👍 Next time you can join your family or friends.

The hardware is unique and beautiful! There are two aspects to the software: 1. If you are a true Buddhist, you will feel that the commercial atmosphere is very strong, and the morning and evening classes are irregular. 2. Very perfect resort hotel, Wuquan belongs to a small boutique hotel under Hilton, divided into 3 areas, dragon (bungalow), bear and giraffe (two floors small). Each room is very large and spacious and comfortable. Outside the window is the swimming pool in the center of the hotel. There is also a large bath near the Dragon District. Whether it is a swimming pool or a hot spring, the water is extremely clear and good. The room network is good, the bed and pillows are particularly good, the room is clean. The uncle in charge of the pick-up is particularly kind and attentive, and the attitude is excellent. The food in the restaurant is good.

Everything was perfect, from the kind monk who showed us the temple (he wasn't part of it) to the morning religious service. The welcome could not have been more friendly, the room comfortable, the view superb, and the meals delicious.
