This is one of the most reputable and best hotels in Bagan. It opened in 2005, so the decor feels a bit dated due to its age, but the staff's service is still quite good.
I recommend staying in the garden view villa. It's very spacious and much better than the basic room. The pagoda view isn't really necessary, since you'll be spending the whole day looking at the pagodas.

The Hotel is quiet old. Our room has some broken floor. However, we really appreciate with warm welcoming from the staffs, polite and friendly front and coffee shop staff, the quiet and nice atmosphere (we can walk around the very wide nice clean hotel compound both in the morning and evening), wide and spacious room and bathroom, nice traditional buffet breakfast (even there's not much choice but we had more than full stomach) and especially they have very tasty traditional hot milk-tea. It is like honeymoon-like-stay for us.

It is about 70 kilometers from Mandalay International Airport and is driven for one and a half hours at a cost of 45,000 MMK. The view is very good, the balcony of the room can see the waterfall and the sunrise and sunset, but there is no other facilities around, it is a little isolated, eat and drink in the hotel restaurant, or call the car to the city center. The facilities in the house feel that the general level, there is no hot water shower, this is very embarrassing, may be the solar energy used in the mountains? ...... Breakfast and food I can only say that compared with the city of Mandalay is also a relatively normal level, not difficult to eat, but it is also like that. The service was good, because the car arrived at the airport at 6 o'clock in the morning, the breakfast did not start, but it was very intimate to pack some food.
