About Avelo Airlines

Avelo Airlines (XP) is a low-cost American airline that was founded in 2021. The airline is headquartered in Houston, Texas, USA. Its main operational hub is at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR), Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN), Orlando International Airport (MCO), the Delaware Valley’s Wilmington Airport (ILG), Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), and the Bay Area’s Sonoma County Airport (STS). Avelo Airlines was established by Andrew Levy, the former chief financial officer of United Airlines, with the aim of providing affordable and convenient air travel to underserved markets across the US. Despite being a relatively new airline, Avelo has quickly expanded its route network to over 50 destinations across the Western U.S. With over 1,000 staff members, the airline endeavored to offer a smoother, simpler and more caring flying experience to passengers.
